Qiang Xin Yi was just a regular woman living in the modern world. However, when she hit her head and somehow transferred her soul into a novel she had been reading, things were never the same for her.
To make things even unluckier for her, she wasn't transmigrated as the main character but the villain, set to die halfway through the story.
If she wants to escape this awful fate and return to her own body, Xin Yi deals with a boy named Lao'an, who claims to be her assistant from some system.
The contract was simple: she had to finish three tough tasks. But there was a major issue - many people in the novel wanted her gone because she was the villain.
As Xin Yi worked hard to finish her tasks and survive, she unexpectedly encountered the story's main character.
Their rocky start took an unexpected turn: feelings began to shift, presenting with a tough decision.
Even if Xin Yi tried to change things, her fate was sealed — to meet her end by the story's close.
