The turtles and April returned to the lair. They all rushed to Donnie's lab, where they gave Leo fresh water to rinse out his eyes and to drink. All while doing so, they developed a plan to infiltrate Shredder's lair again and rescue Carrie.

"First things first," April says, handing Leo bottles of water. "Where would they be keeping her?"

"Baxter's lab most likely," Donnie responds. "If Noah doesn't comply they'll probably experiment on Carrie as the last resort."

"Then we start there." Raph folds his arms. "But getting in is the easy part. How are we going to get out?"

"The room will be heavily guarded," Donnie adds.

"We stay in stealth as much as possible," Leo says. "But we can't fail. We need to get out as soon as possible, even if it means exposing our position."

"I can wait outside Shredder's lair," April says. "I'll hold down on the perimeter and make sure Carrie gets out."

"You're willing to do that?" Donnie questions.

April shrugs. "Beats trying to sneak around a room that will most likely have the most security we've ever seen."

"True! Can I stay too?" Mikey asks.

Donnie taps his chin. "That may not be a bad idea."

"The less of us that go in, the easier it will be to sneak around," Raph says. "But if we get into trouble, we'll have less fighting power."

"We don't need fighting power, we just need to be able to get Carrie out."

"This sounds like a suicide mission," Raph mumbles.

Donnie sighs. "It might turn into that."

"Then let's make sure it doesn't," Leo says.

The turtles and April geared themselves up. Every one of them had arrays of thoughts coursing their minds. They were scared and unsure. This mission could either turn out amazingly well or go horribly wrong. Either way, they all knew they could not fail. They could not allow Shredder to get Noah's invention first. Even if Donatello had not figured out exactly what it was, Carrie had proven to them that the power she possesses is dangerous. With that power in Master Shredder's hands, the Hamato family would have no other means of defeating him. The city would fall beneath the Foot.

While the turtles and April prepared themselves for the mission ahead, Carrie was taken deep beneath Shredder's lair. Earlier, when Karai had caught up to Carrie, more Foot Bots swarmed her. She retaliated as much as she could but she simply didn't have the proper skills yet to succeed. The next thing Carrie knew, a cover was placed over her head, she couldn't see, and was being dragged away.

Karai led her Foot Bots down the levels of her Master's lair. It only took a couple of minutes to arrive at the lab. Carrie was taken to a table where her ankles and wrists were strapped to it. The cover that was put over her head was swiftly removed. Carrie squinted, her eyes adjusting to the sudden light. Her eyes wandered, glancing at all the computers, screens, and glass cages lining the room. The center of the lab housed a large cylinder container, stretching from the floor to the ceiling. Unbeknownst to Carrie, that cylinder contained mutagen. She noticed Kraang patrolling the perimeter of the lab. Some of the glass cages entrapped deranged mutants. The entire scene was frightening for Carrie. She could hardly move (even though she didn't have the choice to anyway) and she was surrounded by Foot Bots.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome," Karai says. The kunoichi paces in front of Carrie. "We're so glad you could join us."

"I never accepted your invitation," Carrie mutters.
