I got up and stomped up to the elderly man. "You listen here," I pointed at him and then felt Kaneki holding me back, he was stronger than he looked. "You will tell me what's going on, now," I said pulling against Kaneki. Yoshimura was calm and only gave a sympathetic smile. "Lynn. Come and sit," he led me to the nearest table. "Kaneki make another cup of coffee for Lynn," Kaneki smiled and went back behind the counter. I wasn't in the mood to tolerate his calm aura. I needed a damn explanation. "Lynn. Nothing went wrong," he shook his head. I wasn't having it. "Something had to go wrong," I demanded. "No Lynn. Everything went perfectly as planned," He was no longer smiling. "what do you mean??" I slammed my fist on the table. He was still calm. "What did they tell you," he rested his elbows on the round table. "HQ informed me and my partner that we would be traveling over to an unknown planet to gather information," I crossed my arms. It hurt, it was as if he wasn't even dead. "That's not true." He stated and I sat up straight. "What.." They lied to me, to me and him? "You were put here not because of exploration, but disposition," he explained. "...We were being disposed of??" I was pissed and shocked. "Please calm down, but yes. They were getting rid of you and your partner," he said. I stood abruptly. "Who the hell are you?! How do you know about me and him??!" I was furious. All I had been trained to do was be thrown away?! "How are you even connected with who we are," he let out a mere sigh. What the hell? This was serious! "Just tell me what I want to hear.." I gritted my teeth. "I am who I say I am. Yoshimura, the owner of this coffee shop," he got up and walked over to the window, and I followed. "That back there is who he says he is, Kaneki Ken," I was getting frustrated. "Can we please just get to the point?" I huffed and he chuckled. "But them. There's a difference between us and them," he nodded towards the bystanders walking the sidewalks outside the window. "I don't care what you things are.." I stated. "I know, but you will, because it matters. There's a foodchain," he turned towards me. "You look the exact same as they do.." Now I was even more confused. "No this is only a disguise, to help me catch food: them. We are called ghouls and yes we prey on people," I just shrugged. "Is this the part im supposed to be mortified by that fact because I don't care about your races.." I crossed my arms. "There's not a single one of you on the earth, so you will find your place in the food chain. Just try not to get eaten. As for how we know your HQ, we have been in contact though satellites in the sky-"
"I know where satellites are!" I stomped.
"-Anyhow, you and your partner were told that they had no contact with this place but for whatever reason they disposed of you and your partner," so he didn't know either. Damn. "Are you ally's," I asked. "Not really. We kind of avoid each other, and no there's not a way back..." He said solemnly as I gawked. "what the hell? So ghouls can read minds..." I noted and he laughed. "No. I am just an observant person," he smiled. "But you aren't a person," I huffed and he smiled wider. "Very good," I had calmed a little. "So if they are your prey, then why not just trap them all cut them up and eat them now?" He looked sickened for a second. "Ehm, there are ghouls with certain outlooks on our human friends,"
"So they are pets of sort?" I asked. He sighed in irritation this time. "Sit down this will be much to explain.."

"You guys are fucked up..." I said leaning back in the chair. "I don't feel sorry for anyone though," I shrugged and he huffed. "Oh but Kaneki is somewhat different," we both looked at Kaneki who had added his two cents every now and then during the lecture. He flushed slightly from the sudden attention and sat down with us. "U-um, yes, I am half ghoul, half human," he said. "So your parents were pretty kinky huh," I laughed a little and he reddened. "No!" I laughed again. "Doesn't look that way," Yoshimura had left to attend to other things, that weird old fart. "I had been attacked not too long ago by a ghoul and she died and her organs were transplanted into mine to keep me alive," I was slightly interested. "Wow, you're lucky you survived," I sat up in the chair. "Yeah I am," he smiled slightly. He had a decent smile for a flower boy. "So they try to eat you right, I mean they eat each other so it's not surprising," I said as he nodded and looked a little uncomfortable. "...have you eaten anyone Kaneki?" Hey you never know this guy could be a secret psycho path. He looked away, uncomfortable. "Hey, uh, I don't really care about anyone here so it doesn't matter to me okay? You can tell me stuff and I won't give a damn so no judgment," I smiled and he surprisingly looked relieved and slightly smiled back. "Yes I have," he didn't look me in the eyes though. I'm guessing he doesn't want to talk about it so I won't pry for now. "They'll try and eat me too right?" I tilted my head. He looked somewhat frightened. "Oh don't worry me and Touka won't let anything happen to you. You don't need to be scared," I laughed. "Such a gentleman," he looked confused. "I'd like to see one of them try! It wasn't so bad fighting Touka. The idea of fighting one for my life excites me," I smiled with confidence. His expression was priceless. "So you fought a lot on your planet?" He seemed intrigued. "I was a trainee, I literally grew up in an arena. Fighting is like a stress reliever for me," he nodded but I could tell he was nothing like that. "You don't like fighting do you," it wasn't even a question. "No not at all. I believe in peace," he smiled again. "Tch. Yeah I don't think that's going to happen too soon though," he nodded and sighed in agreement. "Ugh, I am so sorry Lynn, but we don't seem to have any rooms for you..." Yoshimura had piped up and Touka seemed perfectly content with this. "S-she may stay in mine!" All heads looked to the young man who meekly uttered the words. Oh wow, didn't expect that. "If she doesn't mind," he looked away, picking at his pants. I never understood the male species. "Uh yeah sure," I shrugged. Hey it was either him or be stuck with Touka.
