Hanni's POV

After the small swim which turned out to be just me and Minji splashing each other we just lay under the shelter.

"Hey Minji" I said. "Yea?"she asked "do you think our parents are looking for us?"i asked and Minji shifted a bit to look at me "I'm sure yours are"she smiled.

"Your parents are probably looking for you too"i told her "nope they won't care" she said "Minji of course they will care why would you say that" i asked concerned "because they don't care they don't love me " she told me as if it was nothing.

"Of course they do why are you saying all this?" I asked "because they don't, see, when I was 14 I came out gay and people didn't take it so good they started writing horrible things on my Facebook page and my parents found out and weren't happy they took me to a doctor to see if there was a cure"she laughed out dryly "then when there was none they kicked me out of the house and my grandpa took me in, they don't care or love me" she told me

I felt tears in my eyes "I'm so sorry Mimi" I told her she sat up and wrapped her arms around "hey it's ok it's been nearly four years I'm over it and shouldn't it be me crying?"she laughed

"Yeah I'm just such a softy"i giggled "wow the miss perfect Hanni Pham is a softy would never had thought it" she laughed out "hey would you stop calling me that" I begged "no can do princess"she winked then lay down.

"If your friends were here they'd beat me for just looking at you never mind hugging you"she laughed "no they wouldn't" I sigh knowing it was a lie "um yeah they would they'd be scared for you to catch my gayness"she laughed

"You know you're not that bad?"i told her she laughed "why aren't you like this in school?" she asked "like what?" I asked her "nice, kind, friendly the total opposite of yourself in school?" she stated

"I don't know I just well try to keep up my rep so I stay popular ya no I wasn't always popular I had to work hard"i told her serious "work hard really?" she asked laughing

"Yeah I was bullied most of my life getting called fat and ugly then when we were starting high school, the summer before I worked hard to lose weight and I still do and then bam I was popular" I told her

"And by work hard you mean what?" she asked sitting up looking at me "diets"i stated not looking into her eyes I know she knows "hey you wanna banana?" she asked "no I'm okay" I told her "I knew it you starve yourself what the fuck Nini!"she shouted

"What? why do you say that?" I asked playing dumb "because you haven't ate in like 3 days why?" She asked looking sad "I needed to be and stay skinny and this is how I do it"i told her plainly.

"No Hanni, you have to eat, you're beautiful, you don't need to lose weight"she told me I felt my checks heat up "you think I'm beautiful?"i asked "oh um sorry I no you what yea I think your absolutely stunning" she smiled

"Now eat this" she told me handing me a banana I looked at her cautiously and she gave me a look to say 'you'll be fine' So I took the banana and started to eat it "I'm really proud of you Nini!" she told me and I smiled at her not my usual smile a real one.
