After designing the cover for Book 3 and then redesigning the cover for Book 1, I knew I needed to change Book 2's cover to something more in line with the new cover language of the series. The original cover (which has long been lost) was simply a picture of Naruto with basic text thanks to Wattpad having a basic cover app at the time. When Wattpad gained a new cover app, I didn't know much about visual editing (and I still don't know too much about it to be honest) so I simply remade the old cover with the official logos for Naruto and Avatar.

But after learning more about what the cover app was capable of, I went all out for Book 3's cover, then decided that it was sad that Book 3 was the only cover that would include more characters besides Naruto. So I reworked Book 1's cover and always knew that one day I would do the same for Book 2. The day has come.

Instead of having a villain loom over the heroes as I did before, I let the Earth Kingdom symbol be the thing that looms over the heroes... due to the presence of the Dai Li in Ba Sing Se. That said, I hope everyone likes the new cover!!
