Ok let's get on with the story!

Annabeth POV:

"Ummm, Annabeth... there's smoke coming from the kitchen!"

"Wait WHAT?!"

*30 minutes before*

Let me get this straight.

It was a normal October day, and I was just attempting, key word attempting, to make dinner for me and Percy. The sauce was cooking, and I was casually putting the pot full of water on the stove to boil when someone knocked on the door.

I set the water down, turned on the stove, and walked to the door. I opened it, not knowing what to expect, and saw a nervous looking Leo staring back at me.

Now you may think this, "Leo? Nervous? Those two words don't belong together. He's too confident to be nervous." But he was. Leo Valdez in the flesh, nervous.

"Hey Leo! What brings you here?" I asked.

"I need some advice."

Now this shocked me. I stood there thinking of how to respond when he interrupted my train of thoughts. "Are you going to let me in or just stand there?"

I let him in, and led him to the living room where I sat down in a chair. He plopped down on the couch across from me. "So. What advice do you need?"

"I was thinking that I want to propose to Calypso, but I don't know how." He said.

I was at a loss for words to say the least.

"Wait, first of all, why are you coming to me? I've never proposed to anybody." I replied.

Leo responded, "Well, you were the first person I thought to ask seeing as Jason, Piper, Frank, and Hazel are all in California. And, you've been proposed to so you should know a bit about it."

I thought about that for a second before responding, "Well, I guess you have a point."

We discussed the matter for another 10 minutes before Leo stood up and said, "Well it's getting late. I should be going."

"Bye Leo," I said. 30 seconds passed and Percy walked through the door.

"Hey! I saw Leo leaving just now. Was he visiting?" He questioned.

I replied, "Yea. He just needed some advice on how to propose."

Percy's eyebrows furrowed. "Not to be rude, but why would he come to you?"

"I have not the slightest clue," I said, "you wanna go watch some tv?"

"That sounds great," he replied as we snuggled up on the couch.

We turned on our favorite tv show and got about ten minutes in before Percy exclaimed, "Ummm, Annabeth... there's smoke coming from the kitchen!"

"Wait WHAT?!"

✨time skippity doo✨

The good news is the building didn't burn down. There was no damage to the apartment complex, but we sure did get nasty looks from the neighbors.

"I think they hate us now," I said.

"Eh, it doesn't really matter. I love you." Replied Percy.

"Aww thanks Seaweed Brain!"

We walked back into the apartment to see a pot still on the stove. I walked over to it and looked inside. My spaghetti sauce was now ashes.

"Well, it's a good day for pizza."

Well! How was it? Be honest.

That one was kinda fun to write.

This chapter is kinda Leo themed, but Leo is so great that it doesn't matter
