Madeleine was trying his best to get closer to Espresso everyday, he just wanted his friend back but Espresso found that extremely annoying. Every single day, Madeleine was there, trying to get Espresso's attention and friendship, but Espresso never showed any of that. Madeleine kept telling stories, jokes and started random conversations, which Espresso hated but he kept it inside and didn't say anything. Madeleine thought that since Espresso wasn't yelling at him they were finally getting along! But that wasn't true..
Madeleine- See? I told you we would get along!
Almond- I don't think that's what's going on..
Madeleine- What do you mean?
Almond- Madeleine, I don't think you know what you're doing
Madeleine- Of course I do! I'm getting along with Espresso!
Almond- You're not getting along with him, Madeleine- you know.. I'm always honest, so I'm gonna be honest with you.. You're being obnoxious
Madeleine- What??? You're not serious are you??
Almond- Yes I am, you've been annoying Espresso for days!
Madeleine-...Nah!! If I was annoying him, he would have yelled at me already! That didn't happen so he's liking it!! Maybe I'll invite him to have lunch with us!!
Almond- That's a horrible idea..
Madeleine- No it's not! It's a great idea!
Almond- You know what? I already told you my opinion, now you're on your own
Madeleine-...Seems good to me!
Almond- Of course it does-
After the bell rang and they all sat down, Madeleine looked at Espresso
Madeleine- Hey Essie!!
Espresso- What do you want now, Madeleine..
Madeleine- Want to have lunch with us??
Espresso- No, not at all
Madeleine- I'll accept that as a yes!
Espresso- What?? You gotta be kidding me..
Madeleine- Oh come on!! You know you love me!

Madeleine- DID YOU JUST GIVE ME A NICKNAME????
Espresso- UHHHH- NO!!
Madeleine starts laughing a lot and loudly but then the teacher walked in.
Teacher- Madeleine cookie! Quiet please!!
Madeleine- Oh my apologies-
His friends chuckled and Madeleine looked at them with a "Seriously?" face and Almond shrugged with a smirk. After the class, it was lunch time and Espresso was getting his tray of food, he saw the table where Madeleine and his friends were sitting
Espresso- I'll just ignore him and sit somewhere else..
As Espresso was walking to another table Madeleine yelled
Madeleine- Espresso!! Hey Espresso!! We're here Essie!! Essie!! Essie!!
Mint choco- I think he got it, Madeleine-
Almond- Shut up, Mint
Mint choco- So when you say it, it's correct, but when I say it, it's wrong???
Almond stays quiet for a while with a really mad face and then throws mashed potatoes at Mint's face
Mint choco- YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-
Cocoa points and laughs while Mint choco turns red
Madeleine- Cocoa, leave that bisexual alone-
Mint choco- I.. I'm going to accept that-
Cocoa- Pffft!
Espresso started to chuckle in an attempt of trying not to laugh
Madeleine- Cmon Essie! Sit with us!
Espresso- *sighs* fine..
Espresso walks up to their table, puts his tray there and sits down. Madeleine hugs him immediately and Espresso tries to push him away since he's not really comfortable with it.
Cocoa- You two are a very cute couple, you know that?
Madeleine- COCOA-
Cocoa- What??? I was just stating a fact!!
They all laugh while both Madeleine and Espresso turn red. The group kept talking and making fun of the disgusting food of their school
Madeleine- Ew my chicken came rare-
Almond- You think that's bad??? I got an alive chicken!!
Mint choco- AND IT KEEPS PECKING MY HEAD-
Cocoa- My mashed potatoes came frozen, it looks like a disgusting ice cream that costs 0.99$ at Walmart
The group looks at Espresso waiting for him to complain about the food, Espresso stays quiet starting an awkward silence, that's when Madeleine realized how quieter Espresso is now, that's when Espresso picked up his bowl of soup and turned it upside down and it started falling like a slime. They all laughed, Espresso was unsure if they were laughing with him or at him. Madeleine then said
Madeleine- Essie say something!!
Espresso- Madeleine, first of all, don't call me that, and second of all, I don't want to talk in front of your stupid friends..
Madeleine looked at Espresso in shock
Madeleine- STUPID!? MY FRIENDS AREN'T STUPID!! AND YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE FRIENDS!!! OH YEAH! AND DIDN'T YOU GET BULLIED IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR BEING GAY??
A big silence filled the cafeteria, Madeleine talked so loud that everyone heard, everyone's eyes were on Espresso and he started turning red, from embarrassment and anger. That's when Madeleine realized what he said.
Madeleine- I.. Espresso I'm so sorry!! I didn't mean to say that..
Madeleine expected Espresso to run away crying but instead Espresso grabbed Madeleine's collar and looked at him in the eyes with a death stare.
Espresso- Me and you, one hour before class, in front of the school.. Tomorrow we fight.. I'll end your race..
He throws Madeleine to the floor and walks away
Madeleine- Me and Espresso.. Fighting..?
Cocoa- OHOHOHOHH!! PLOT TWIST!! I'm gonna need some popcorn!!
Almond- Let's go get some then, I'm really craving it.
(Madeleine)
Everyone went home and Madeleine couldn't stop thinking about Espresso's words.. "I'll end your race".. Madeleine is curious but also scared. Is Espresso really determined to fight? Or was he bluffing? Madeleine couldn't know.
In the next day Madeleine was hesitating if he should go or not, but as confident as he is, he gets up and walks to school confidently!

When Madeleine finally got there, his confidence got lower at seeing Espresso standing in front of the school, ready for a fight, and his friends in the front row, eating popcorn. Madeleine watched Espresso tie his hair even if his hair is shorter than Madeleine's.
Madeleine- Are you ready, Essie?
Espresso- I was born ready..
Madeleine- I'll let you give the first punch!
Madeleine said that with so much confidence and Espresso smirked, he ran up to him and gave him a really strong punch, Madeleine felt to the floor
Madeleine- Agh!!
He was honestly surprised by Espresso's strength but of course he got up and punched back. Espresso kicked Madeleine in the stomach and punched him again.
Cocoa- This is getting intense-.. DUDE YOU ATE ALL THE POPCORN-
Almond- OH GIVE ME A BREAK-
Madeleine got distracted by his friends arguing and Espresso used that opportunity to immobilize Madeleine and started to suffocate him
Madeleine- Espresso..!! Essie p-please-!!
Espresso- I'm not letting you go, Madeleine.. I'M WINNING THIS!!!
Espresso has a big smile until a familiar female voice yells
???- ESPRESSO CAFFEINE COOKIE!!!
