Shapeshifters, is one word to describe the earthling. They are highly intelligent creatures, and when coming a specific age they may choose a limb from a animal as their main appearance, such as: bird wings, talons, tails, claws. And the extra limb gives them an extra ability.
They are also very social creatures, traveling in huge numbers. They are the most common of the ling class, along with waterlings. They do not like any meat, their taste buds are very different than the humans. but, it depends.
They are known to be tricksters, loving to prank fellow earthlings, or to prank unsuspecting humans.
And another thing they are known for, is for being kleptomaniacs. So, be careful trusting a earthling with a item of yours.
Though, it is said the legendary god of kindness, used to be an earthling type-of hybrid. But, that was before the storm.
And unfortunately that is all known about Earthlings, they are truly mysterious beings.
