Rin was undeniably in shock. How was he suppose to make sense of this? He walked back towards the bathroom where Katsuki was doing no better than before. As he entered the room Katsuki turned back to look at him but his face drained of blood and he went pale.
His eyes widened as he stared at what the alpha held in his hands. On the left a box of pills and on the right, his positive pregnancy test. The terror and panic was prominent in the omega's eyes as tears started swelling. "R-Rin I-...." Katsuki couldn't speak. It was as well. His mouth went completely dry and if he tried to speak a word his throat would burn.
"You're pregnant....?" The alpha asked, with shock still plastered all over his face. The omega however stayed quiet as thoughts sped through his head at the speed of light. "How far...." Rin demanded to know as he stared at the back of Katsuki's head. He didn't respond.
"Katsuki, I asked how far....." The alpha asked, more sternly this time as his alpha voice seeped through. The omega winced at the sound of it his tears rolled down his cheeks. "Almost three months...." Bakugou barely managed to whisper in a weak voice.
Just as the alpha was about to respond to that a knock was heard from the blonde's door. The omega looked at Rin, silently begging him to stay quiet at that moment. He shook his head as he walked towards the sound but before Katsuki could stop him he opened the door.
He was met with emerald eyes starting back at him. "Rin? What....? Why are you in Kacchan's room?" Midoriya asked, immediately expecting the worse. At that moment Rin looked like a deer in headlights. He looked back at the bathroom door for second before he was forced to make a last-minute decision.
"I came to give him his bracers back....he wasn't here so I'm waiting for him to come back, since have to ask about something important." The alpha said as he ran a hand through his hair. "Uhm....okay, could you tell Kacchan that I'm looking for him if you see him?" The greenette asked.
"Yeah sure...."
"Thanks."
The alpha walked away hesitantly and was no doubt suspicious about this whole encounter. Rin quickly closed the door behind him and walked back to the bathroom where he could hear faint sobs.
What he saw was definitely not what he was use to. Katsuki was sitting with his back pressed against the wall while holding his knees to his chest. It was obvious to anyone that saw him right now that he was crying.
"Please don't tell anybody..." Katsuki whispered in a shaky voice as he looked up at the Alpha. Rin stood frozen, not knowing what to do. Of course he was mad, and of course, he was concerned but he had to help Katsuki.
He slowly walked over to the omega and sat down next to him before he wrapped an arm around his shoulders to pull him in close. Bakugou continued to sob into the Alpha's chest as his hand gripped the fabric of his shirt.
"Shhh it's okay...." Rin breathed out as he rubbed comforting circles over the blonde's back while soothing pheromones travelled through the air. It no doubt made the omega relax a little bit but he was still a mess.
"I won't tell anyone....I promise...." Rin said softly as the blonde's sobs started to die down. "Thank you...." Katsuki said as he sat next to the alpha on the floor, still shaking from the initial shock. Of all the people that could've found out, it was Rin. The person who tormented him for years was on the bathroom floor holding him while he had a meltdown.
"Does Kirishima know?" The alpha asked while refusing to move or let go of the omega. "No..." That surprised the him more than anything. How could the person, who he presumed was the father, not know about this yet? "Why haven't you told him?" He asked a little concerned.
"I don't know how..." Katsuki breathed out as the gut-wrenching feeling of guilt engulfed him once more. There was silence for a few seconds before Rin decided to speak again. "Do you remember that nickname that you use to call me back when we were kids....?" The alpha asked, trying to change the subject so he could calm the blonde down completely.
"Ririn....?" The Omega asked as he pulled away from him before wiping his eyes of tears. "Yeah, you use to call me that all the time....well at least until- nevermind.....I missed that, didn't you?" The alpha questioned as he gave Bakugou a soft smile.
"I guess....but I'm not a damn kid anymore, why are you bringing it up though? Want me to call you that again or some shit..." Katsuki said before laughing softly while he continued to wipe his face from dried tears. "Haha no....I'm just saying, I never really knew that I would miss it as much as I did." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Yeah, me neither...." The omega said as he looked away and smiled lightly. "I'm glad you finally decided to open your eyes though....you've been a real jackass." Katsuki said as he nudged the Alpha in his ribs playfully. "Hey, I thought we were over this." Rin said as he pouted before it turned into a smile.
"Nuh-uh, I'm drilling you for that shit until I die, you ain't getting off that easy." The omega said which made the both of them laugh.
"Yeah whatever, lets get off of the floor." Rin said as he stood up and helped the omega onto his feet. "I'm gonna run a shower for you, I'll get you some clothes once you get out." The alpha said as he let Katsuki sit down on the toilet seat and went to turn on the water, making sure it was just the right temperature.
"Thank you..." The blonde said quietly just as Rin was about to leave the bathroom. He only smiled and nodded towards the omega before he closed the door and let out an exasperated sigh. He looked around the room before his eyes landed on the positive pregnancy test once more. If he had to guess, he was the first one to find out, and it was pretty safe to say that Katsuki probably didn't find it comforting. Or at least that's what Rin thought.
He went and took a seat on Katsuki's bed, with the same feeling of dread that took over Bakugou the day he found out. The alpha couldn't understand how Bakugou hadn't told anyone yet, especially Eijirou, but after a while of dwelling over it he started putting pieces together. Of course Katsuki didn't want the school to know, he stood the risk at losing his scholarship along with his future as a hero. Although there were only one practical exam left before they graduated, it was still a high-risk situation for both Katsuki and the unborn infant.
Rin got snapped out of his train of thought as he heard the water turning off in the bathroom. He quickly stood up to find some clothes for Katsuki to wear and placed them neatly on the drawer next to the bathroom door. "Rin, did you get my clothes?" The blonde asked as he opened the door and stood in the frame with a towel covering his torso.
"Uhm yeah, it's right there next to you..." The alpha said as the steam from the hot shower seeped into the room. He didn't mean to stare but it was hard to pry his eyes away from the omega. Katsuki looked off to the side of him and grabbed his clothes before heading back into the bathroom and closing the door.
Once he was finished he creaked the door open to find Rin sitting on his bed. "Feeling better?" He asked as he shot the omega a soft smile. "Yeah..." Katsuki mumbled as he dried his hair with the towel covering his head before he went to sit next to the alpha.
"Good....but now I need to have a serious conversation with you..." Rin said as he looked in front of him with his elbows resting on his knees while he hunched over. The omega just stayed silent.
"How many people have you told about this?" He asked as he looked over at Katsuki who was spacing out towards the floor. "Only my doctor..." He replied as the same look of dread washed over his face. "Okay...and when are you planning on telling Kirishima....you know he has to find out sooner or later." Rin said as he leaned back to sit up straight.
"I know....I just can't figure out how to tell him..." The omega admitted as he rubbed over his eyes. The alpha could see that this was something that ate at the blonde, and for a long time too. He wanted to help him through this desperately, and so that is what he will do.
"Then I'll help you."
