HIS OFFICE

"What's your name?" Miguel asked me when we were in his office. There was screens everywhere and these weird needles with green liquid. I eyed things closely, and for too long apparently. "Answer me!! Now!"

I couldn't help but flinch. I sighed then looked at Miguel. "Lee Moon," I said softly.

"Lee Moon..." He repeated as he stared into my soul. Miguel put his hands in his hip and eyed me again. "What exactly are you?" He asked me.

"Spider-Witch, remember?" I asked annoyed.

"Don't give me attitude," Miguel spoke sternly. He pointed his finger at me and looked at me with a stern look.

I rolled my eyes at his words. "Or what?" I crossed my arms and looked at him with an annoyed look that basically said, 'try me.'

"Oh? You wanna be a brat?" Miguel laughed a fake laugh then glared me dead in the eyes. "Don't try me, kid."

I scoffed at him. "Excuse me?! Kid?!"

"You clearly act like one," Miguel scoffed back.

"I'm 23, idiot!" I said offended that he considered me a kid. I mean how old is he even to call me a kid.

"23?" Miguel repeated then pinched the bridge of his nose. He sighed then told me his age. "I'm 30, Lee." He shook his head, "learn to grow up."

My eyes slowly widen in shock. "You're 30?!"

Miguel let go of his nose and nodded, "yes." He shook his head again then looked down at me. "You clearly need to learn to grow up and learn some manners." I blinked my eyes at him and watched as he turned to face the screens. "Lee... What universe do you come from?" He asked me casually as he flipped through different scenes displayed on the screens.

"Why? Why do you-"  I started, but he cut me off.

"Shut. Up. Learn to just answer questions!" He snapped at me.

I bit down on my lip and took deep breaths so I didn't snap at him. "Witchlandia," I finally said.

"Hmm..." Miguel chuckled softly. "Never heard of that one."

"Because you're a smartass who doesn't really know everything!!" I snapped at him once and for all. Those words left before I could even think about them or process them. This meant, I already knew I was dead when those words left because of his look.

When Miguel turned around he glared into my soul. "What did you just say to me?" Miguel growled hungrily.

"I..." I whimpered softly and backed away a bit.

"Say it again," Miguel commanded in a tone darker than the night sky. He took a step closer to me as two sharp talons cane out of his suit. I gulped and took another step back. "Stop. Stand still and face me, witch," he snapped.

"I didn't mean it!! I wasn't thinking!!" I blurted out and shook a bit.

Miguel scoffed at my response, "of course you weren't." He made the talons go away then rolled his eyes. "People like you never think." He turned around and face the screens again. Miguel typed away and ignored my presence. I stood there awkwardly, clearly feeling stupid and annoyed because of him. Sensing my only my stupidity, Miguel spoke. "This is why you need to learn to mature, Lee. You feel stupid because I'm putting you in your place," he said coldly.

"My...place?" I practically scoffed and crossed my arms. "What exactly is my place?" I raised an eyebrow.

Miguel took a glance at me then looked back at his screens before smirking. "Underneath me," he told me with the smirk.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"You heard me. I own this place. You..." He turned to face me, "are nothing without me. If you want to join this place, you will obey."

I eyed him up and down before asking, "and if I don't?"

"Well... I simply don't need you," Miguel said nonchalantly.

"Good. I don't need you either!!" I snapped and turned myself around. I looked at the exit then at Miguel. "Is it this easy to get in and leave?" I questioned him.

Miguel let out a long sigh. "No puedo más..."

I looked at him and giggled softly. "Let me guess... Because of me?"

Miguel sighed, "yes because of you." Miguel gave me a slight glare then turned around to face me again. "Can you just behave for two seconds?"

"Am I tiring you out already?" I teased with a smirk on my lips. Miguel growled angrily and brought out his talons. He took deep breaths and panted. It was clear he was trying to control himself. I gulped a bit and tried to change the topic, but before I knew it, I was pinned up against the wall with a talon against my neck. "Ah!" I gasped out.

"You wanna keep testing me?" He pressed his talon onto my neck, a deadly look was on his face.

I felt as if he could kill me any moment, I took it as a threat. I quickly teleported behind him then kicked him against the wall. I summoned my spell book and floated a bit into the air. "Don't," I threatened.

Miguel growled and punched the wall with his talon. He then turned to face me with the same deadly look. "You little-"

"Miguel!!" A voice called out to him.

I quickly made my spell book disappear and floated down to my feet, getting into a fighting stance as soon as they hit the ground. I watched closely as a male with a child walked into Miguel's office. "What...?" I tilted my head to the side.

"Ayeee..." Miguel groaned as he put his talons away. "Peter..." Miguel mumbled annoyed.

"My good friend Miguel!!" Peter chuckled and walked over to us. Peter saw me and waved with a bright smile. "Hey!" He smiled reassuringly at me. "And you are...?"

I eyed Peter, and the child, closely. "Lee Moon," I said firmly.

"Pretty!!" The child squealed then giggled.

I looked at the child more closely this time. Peter noticed and chuckled softly. "Her name is Mayday," he said with a smile. I couldn't help but smiled and slowly wave at Mayday. She giggled and waved back.

"Peter, we're busy!" Miguel finally spoke up.

"Oh come on, lighten up Miguel!" Peter chuckled and walked closer to us, making Miguel groan in annoyance. Me on the other hand, I giggled and smiled at Mayday. "Wanna hold her?" Peter asked me when he saw my smile.

"No one is holding-" Miguel started, but I cut him off.

"Yes!" I snapped my fingers, making Mayday teleport into my arms. "You're so cute!" I giggled more.

"Ooohhh, witch..." Mayday giggled and clapped her hands.

"Enough," Miguel said sternly. "Everyone out." He looked at Peter and added, "especially you and Mayday."

Peter sighed softly and took Mayday from my arms. "Nooo..." She whined softly. "LeeLee..." Mayday mumbled. My eyes soften then I look at Miguel.

Miguel sighed and shook his head. "Let me finish with Lee." He looked at Mayday. "Then you come back."
