i was sitting at breakfast with pansy and mattheo as the others walked over to join us.

Mattheos hand was entwined with mine under the table.

Theo sat opposite me smirking.

"what are you smirking at?" i asked

"did you two have fun last night?" he asked

"what?" i asked confused

he reached into his pocket and pulled out my white lace underwear and handed them to me.

"found these under mattheos bed" Theo winked at me

"anything you want to clear up?" he asked

"Me and y/n are back together" Mattheo answered

the others heads turned to us.

"5 galleons enzo now!" theo demanded laughing

enzo rolled his eyes and handed theo the 5 galleons.

"what are you doing?" Mattheo asked

"We made a bet that Enzo gave me 5 galleons if you get together within the first month" Theo replied

Mattheo rolled his eyes and kissed my cheek smiling.

"see now there's the mattheo i knew was in there!" theo exclaimed

"Is mattheo riddle smiling?" Draco mocked

"i think he is" blaise continued

They all laughed at mattheo smiling and we tucked into our breakfast.

just as i finished eating i felt a tap on my shoulder.

it was sofia.

"y/n have you got any post yet today?" she asked

"not yet why?" i asked

"it's our parents" she said

"what's going on?" i asked confused

she handed me her letter.

dear sofia,

i bring joyful news! Me and Clyde are engaged! he proposed last night at dinner. he is going to be your stepdad and Y/n will be your stepsister!

i hope everything at school is okay and your happy.

"what what!?" i exclaimed "there engaged!?"

"this is fucked up" i said

"why?" sofia asked confused

"my dad divorced my mum a year ago and has only been dating your mum 4 months! this is way too soon" i replied in disbelief

"i think it's sweet" sofia said

"this is wrong" i said shaking my head

"i should get back i just wanted to see if you knew" she said before she walked away

how the fuck was he already engaged to someone else?

mum wasn't even dating.

"are you alright?" pansy asked

"this isn't right" i muttered before i felt a warm hand round my waist.

"i'm sure it's all fine" mattheo said kissing my forehead.

i nodded even tho i was still shook.

we prepared to go to class when daphne approached mattheo.

could she have worse timing?

"hey mattheo, how are you today?" she asked batting her eyelashes at him

i gave her a dirty look.

"what are you glaring at?" she asked me

"you" i replied still giving her a disgusted look

"it's none of your concern what i do" she scoffed

"it is when your flirting with my boyfriend" i replied

it felt weird yet heart warming referring to mattheo as my boyfriend again.

"your what?" she asked

"you heard me, now fuck off" i rolled my eyes at her

"whatever, il see you later mattheo" she said smiling at him

i rolled my eyes again and walked off to herbology with pansy.

we were partners for it.

i stood next to her as professor sprout explained the task.

"so what do you know about this daphne girl?" i asked

"she's a pureblood in our year, she has a younger sister in year 4 and she's had a crush on mattheo since he started" she replied

"did anything ever happen between them?" i asked

"no. never. mattheo always turns her down along with all the other girls that flirt with him" she replied

"why does daphne keep trying if he just turns her down?" i asked

"She's meant to be the most popular girl in the school and she making it her mission to get with the closed off hottie" pansy answered

"not on my watch she's not" i scoffed

"just be careful what you say about her in public, she has a lot of friends everywhere that listen to conversations" she warned

"noted. thanks" i said

"no problem" she replied with a smile.

i got on with my work clipping mimbulus mimbbletonia roots.

i soon finished and was dismissed from class.

i went to the rest of my lessons and then headed to the common room where pansy, theo, and draco were on the couches.

i walked over and took a seat next to theo.

"what we talking about?" i asked

"how enzo definitely has a crush on sofia miller" theo replied

"my future step sister?" i asked

"yeah" he answered

i could actually see that.

they would make a good couple.

Mattheo blaise and Enzo soon came and joined us

Mattheo sat down next to me and pulled me close to him.

i leaned against his shoulder taking in his sweet scent.

now that i had him back i never wanted to let him go again.
