|Blood and fire| Dabi x Toga

First night

It was a peaceful night at the league of villains. Everyone was asleep. Suddenly, Toga jolted up from her bed, realizing that she had a nightmare. She was crying in her sleep, images of her parents screaming at her, roaming through her head. While still crying, Toga got out of her room and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. While she was drinking, she heard a noise.

Dabi: Hey.

She nearly screamed when she saw him.

Toga: D-dabi! You scared me...

She found Dabi a bit scary. He didn't talked much and he always had that long scary look. She put a happy fake smile on her face.

Toga: Heh, sorry to disturb you. I'l go now.

Dabi: Wait.

He approached her and she flinched and went backwards until she was pressed against the wall. He looked at her, staring into her eyes.

Dabi: You cried.

Toga: What? N-no! I didn't!

He put his hand next to her head and small sparkles started coming out.

Dabi: Stop lying. I know you're lying. Tell me why you cried...

His hand formed into a fist that was nearly on fire.

Dabi: Now!

She started shaking, tears flooding her eyes and she pressed herself more to the wall. His fist took fire and she flinched, closing her eyes and turning her head away, waiting for him to hurt her.

Dabi's POV:

While he was watching her, he realized what he was doing and put his fire out. She was shaking and she looked like she was waiting for him to hit her.

Dabi: Look at me. Toga.

She just flinched and closed her eyes harder. He got annoyed and garbed her face.

Toga: N-no please!

Dabi: What's wrong with you? You aren't usually like this.

He looked in her flooded yellow eyes and sighed, than he hugged her tightly.

Toga: No! Please! D-don't hurt me!

She started squirming, trying to free herself, but he only sneezed her harder.

Toga: D-dabi...please...c-cant...breathe..

He let her go a little and started pating her head.

Dabi: Talk. Now.

Toga: I-i just had a n-nightmare. That's all! I swear!

He looked down at her and his eyes became more understanding.

Dabi: About what?

Toga: About...my parents...

Dabi: And?

Toga: About how they forced me to change...

She let her head down and put her hands around his back. He lowered himself and started strucking her hair. She just couldn't hold it in anymore and started crying like a 3 year old child. And he just stood there, embracing her. When she calmed herself, she asked him:

Toga: H-how did you know i needed to do this?

Dabi: Heh...i know what you'r going through...and i want to help you. Like no one helped ME.

She looked at him and forowed.

Toga: I-if you need to talk...i'm right here...

He just laughed and said:

Dabi: I think its too late for me, but now let's focus on you. Can you sleep?

Toga: I-i don't know...

He picked her up and entered his room. Than he placed her on the bed and covered her with the sheets. She was already asleep. He chuckled slowly and he lie down, closing his eyes and drifting to sleep.
