As I sat in class,
I caught a glimpse of him from the corner of my eye. His head was up and his eyes were wandering.
When I looked at him, I noticed his hollow eyes staring back at me.
We were sitting close to each other, with him in the first row and me on the third desk of the second row.
We didn't acknowledge each other's presence, but I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.
