I quickly opened the email.
I read it out loud.
"Dear y/n y/l/n, we hereby inform you that you will be playing the Role of Rory Higgins in Summer in Summer state!!!" I said, more exited then ever.
"You got the role!?" Miguel asked.
I closed the email quickly and went back into the call.
"I got the role!" I yelled.
A giant smile appeared on his face and i jumped around in exitement.
"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my goddd!!" I yelled.
"Im so fucking proud of you!" He said.
"Me too!" I replied.
I felt tears of happiness coming into my eyes and i could see Miguel freaking out on my phone.
"This is all I've ever wanted!" I said.
"And now its yours!" He replied.
"Its mine!" I said.
We both kept freaking out.
"Oh my god if i could kiss you right now i so would!" I yelled out.
He laughed.
"Im gonna do it!" I said.
"Kiss me?" He asked, confused as hell.
"No you fucking moron, sorry, adrenaline. Im gonna be an actress!" I said.
"Your gonna be an actress!" He replied.
I giggled in exitement and sat back down at the picknick table.
It was quiet for a few seconds while we smiled at eachother.
"What do you say after getting news like this?" I asked.
"You talk, bout life." He replied.
"Life?" I asked.
I put down my elbow on the table and rested my chin in my hand.
"You talk about everything that led you to this moment." He said.
"Ok uhm.. I.. Watched the amazing Spiderman, inspiring me to become an actress.. Tried to convince my mom for years.. met you, loved you, found out you loved me too.. went back to Florida, was miserable without you for like 2 months, was with you for a weekend, met Scott Derrickson who apparently already knew who i was which was very surprising, uhm.. He told me he'd put in a good word for me for a new movie he was working on, rebelled against my parents for the first time in my life, auditioned, was nervous for a day, then got an email, containing my future."
"Exactly." He replied.
I smiled.
"Thank you.." I said.
"For what?" He asked.
"I never could've done any of this without you." I replied.
He softly smiled.
"You definitely could've." He said.
"Definitely not." I replied.
"Oh you definitely could've, for sure." He said.
I stayed quiet and looked at him.
"In another life, my mom would've said no when i told her i wanted to go to France. We never would've met that day but i can guarantee you that in that life, you would've become an actress aswell. You could've done this on your own, trust me. You just needed a little push." He said.
"I love you Mikey." I said, admiring him through the screen.
"I love you more.." He replied.
The bell rang.
"Oh shoot- I have to go, bye!" I said.
"Bye!" He replied.
I walked to class and saw Maddison and Millie sitting next to eachother in class.
I sat down in front of them.
"Guys!" I said.
"What?" Maddison asked.
"Im gonna be am actress!" I said.
"What!?" They both said, giant smiles appearing on their faces.
I nodded and smiled.
"This has been your dream ever since i can remember!" Maddison said.
"I know!" I replied.
"Im so proud of you!" She added.
"Thank you!" I said.
Millie smiled at me.
"I was also gonna say im proud of you but then she said it." She said, still smiling.
"You can say it aswell." Maddison said.
I smiled.
"Im so proud of you." She said.
I smiled.
"Alright ladies, break it up we've got biology to learn." The teacher said.
I turned around and nodded at her.
She started explaining her biology or whatever but i zoned out.
As i watched out the window i thought about today. I got the email containing my future, got kicked out of class for the first time, really that was it but the first thing meant alot to me.
Im gonna become an actress.
