Detention

Y/n POV

I was sitting frustrated in the potions classroom next to Theo, my best friend. We were all wandering around the castle at night but then filch found us and unfortunately caught us two while the others escaped "so Mrs. Y/l/n and Mr. Nott, your task for todays detention is to tidy up the whole potion classroom, I have things to do so I hope you both know the consequences if you won't do what you are supposed to" he said harsh and looked at us both strict.

We both nodded and watched as he left the room "just great" Theo let out a frustrated sigh "let's just start so we can finish fast" I give him a grimace to cheer him up a bit "it's seriously so unfair" her begins while I walk to the shelf in the back of the classroom "Theo..." I warn him "no it is y/n, why are we always the ones who get caught it's not fair" he complains "maybe because the others are all running away alone so they can hide better, but you are always running after me" you laugh out while starting to sort the things in the shelf.

A light blush creeps on Theo's face "well you know you're clumsy who knows what could happen to you, you would probably still get caught and would need to spend the detentions alone" he answers, I lay my hand on my chest dramatically "oh no how sad that would be" I joke "yeah it would really be" he begins while walking over to me "imagine how boring it would be if I wasn't here"

"Well at least I could get some work done because you aren't really helping" I say while tiding up the rest that stands on the floor, he let out a frustrated sigh "well it was a try worthy" he says before also starting to cleaning up the room. I laugh at him "well you have to clean up, and so have I" I point my Finger strict at him "but I don't want tooo" he whined like a little child "Theodore Nott-" "fine fine I will do it chill"

Time skip
We already finished cleaning up the class room but had to stay here for detention for one more our. I was sitting on a desk being bored just waiting for the time to go and watch Theo roaming trough his school back searching for something "here" he called while standing up and throwing a bar of chocolate in my direction, gladly I caught it. I looked at him thankful "Thank youuu" I said while opening the chocolate exited "everything for you" he said while shoving his own chocolate into his mouth.

A light blush creeps to my cheeks at his words, he always been flirty with every one, but in the last year his flirty attitude towards me became even stronger making it really hard for me to get over him, he was still my best friend. You don't fall for your best friends

"what you thinking about?" He ask while still chewing on his chocolate "don't talk when your mouth is full Theo" I laugh and he grins at me in return "no that's disgusting" I say as I see his teeth full of chocolate, he closes his mouth again and walk over to me "that's not a nice thing to say princess"

The blush on my cheeks come back but I try to play it cool "it's the truth tho" "is it?" He raises an eyebrow as he stands directly in front of me "cheeky to say when you have chocolate al around your mouth" he says while lowering his face so it is at the same high as mine. Controlling my blush gets impossible at this point "you're lying" "no I don't" "yes you are"

"No I am not" he says while grabbing my face gently and rubbing his thumb over the place where the chocolate is on my face. I look at him in shock but when our eyes meet again he just smiles at me sweetly "I told you I weren't lying"

"Should I tell you a secret" he whispers and I nod my head still lost of words "do you want to know the real truth of why I always run after you when we have to run away from Filch" he pauses for a little moment "...because I know he will caught us when we run together" you look at him confused and he smiles again "you want us to get caught and get into detention?" I ask confused

He nods "why would you want that?" I get really curious at that point "Because it's the only time I have you to myself" his voice get quieter with every word. I stare at him in shock "I don't get it" I admit at this point being completely oblivious. He sighs "Yeah is see that you don't get it" he chuckles sweetly "I like spending time with you, just you not the others" he says "okay... well you could have just ask me instead of getting us into detention every time" I chuckle unsure

"No y/n you don't... you don't get it" he let his hand move over his face frustrated "I don't want to spend time with you as your best friend" you wait for him to continue "come on haven't I made it obvious this year?" He ask clearly despaired, I just shake my head. He throws his head back frustrated "I knew you were sometimes really oblivious but that oblivious, I mean I tried to show it to you over the last few years and you didn't get it so how comes you don't even get it this year when I obviously already told you so many times that I like you" you just stare at him your eyes wide open

"I don't want to spend time with you as your best friend y/n..." he says quietly while waiting for my response "we'll go didn't make it that clear, you could have just ask me out" I laugh out nervous "well that was actually the plan every time we got into detention" he says as his whole face became red.

I grab his arms to pull him closer to me and to wrap my arms around him. For a few seconds he just stand there still but then he moves his arms to engulf me in the hug pulling me closer to him, before moving his one hand to my face taking it in his hand gently. My chin gets lifted by him and he looks directly into my eyes "can I?" He ask shyly, I have never seen him shy in my whole life.

So I just move my face up so our lips are almost touching "yes" I whisper against his lips before I feel him pressing his lips gently to mine.
The kiss deepen slowly as we hear footsteps approaching fast before the door swings open as we both pull away from each other fast trying to act like nothing as happened.

Snape stands in the door looking at us suspicious "well what were you two up over there?" He ask while raising an eyebrow "nothing Professor, we just finished earlier with cleaning up so we had a little talk" Theo says confidently, nothing of the shy and careful Theo is there anymore "I will let it slide this time because I have clearly better thing to do" Snape says while hovering his nose " you both are dismissed" he ,waves the room while making his rope flow after him like a ghost

I watch him leave as I feel a hand take my own. I look up to see Theo who has already taken his bag waiting for me to stand up, so I do. As we walk trough the corridors to our common room Theo stands still all of sudden and I look at him confused "I still haven't ask you" he says while turning to look at me "haven't ask me what?" My confusion grows even more "if you want to go out with me" he answered while looking directly deep into my eyes "oh I though my answer would be obvious to that" I tease him

"Well I just wanted to make sure I got it right" he smirks slyly at me now " well in that case, yes I will go out with you" and with that I place a small kiss on his cheek catching him of guard before running away laughing, him chasing after me.

"He finally did it" Blaise says while watching the two of you running around like children "yeah finally I now we don't to hear him complaining all the time that he still didn't ask her" Mattheo says laughing "yep now we have to watch them being all cute together and loving and so on" Blaise chuckles
