In the hushed hours of twilight, tears filled her eyes, Regina, in sorrow, whispered her goodbyes.
With Previn in her arms, she had tried to evade, CPS's grasp, in the shadows they swayed. From home to home, they had journeyed so far, seeking refuge and safety, from where they both are.
But the system, relentless, its reach did extend, and in a moment of heartbreak, Previn they'd rend. With tears on her cheeks, she watched him depart, the anguish she felt, tearing holes in her heart.
A grandmother's love, fierce and profound, but the hands of the state, they had come to astound. In those tearful moments, as he slipped from her view, Regina knew in her heart, this pain would ensue.
But hope still endured in those tear-swelling skies, that one day, they'd reunite, with love in their eyes.Though separated, their bond couldn't sever, in their hearts, they'd hold onto that love forever. - P.
