"This never ends " I said looking at my watch
I was supposed to end my shift at 2:50 but I decided to do another hour since someone called in sick
A bitch need money so i said why not
I heard the door open and close and landed my eyes on the couple approaching the counter
"Hello welcome to Che Buona Bontà how can I help you today ?"
"Hi girl we reserved a table on the name Rodriguez "the beautiful brownskin girl said while her boyfriend or whoever it was held on her tight

"He might be rich " I said in my head again shrugging mentally
"Yeah it's the table right there let me take you " I said indicating them to follow me
"Here you go " I said giving them the menu
"When you're ready to order my colleague right there will take your orders " I said smiling at the them to not be rude
"Okay thank you " she said returning the smile
I nodded my head and went over to Cedrick to tell him to take their orders in a few moments

"That table right there will have to get their orders taken in some minutes "

While I was walking back I felt someone staring at me so I looked back meeting eyes with the brownskin girl
She looked like something was bothering her but I didn't know what
She quickly smiled and turned her head away
Her boyfriend looked in my direction with a mean mug in his face before turning back to her and whispering something
I was far away so i couldn't read his lips
"Girl your shift just ended why are you still here " Vanessa my other coworker reminded me snapping me out of my thoughts

"People around say his crazy foreal and treats her like shit and even saw her with a big bruise on her face before " she said making me concerned
"No one ever tries to help her ?" I asked
