Chapter 73

The girls were gathered in the living room, some having returned from their universities and others from shopping for costumes for the Halloween party that was literally close by.

Of course, as they returned, they weren't expecting to find cousin Bomi there next to SoYi who had been home since prior and Jin who seemed to be having a lot of fun being there, unlike Namjoon whose arm Bomi had taken hold of and wouldn't let go of.

"Oh look who we have here, good evening to our dear cousin." Yumi greeted a bit jokingly since even though she didn't know Bomi well yet, Yumi had an aura of friendliness on her own. She didn't find Bomi as someone to be taken seriously anyway, so there was no issue of her being cheerful with her.

"Oh, our lesbian sisters. Hi~" Bomi greeted them cheerfully, making SoYi who was sipping some of her water end up choking on the words Bomi had so casually thrown out.

"I can't believe she's still stuck on that," Hana whispered to Miran who was beside her, before they both giggled, leaving Roel and Yumi in an awkward moment as they found the urge to burst out laughing but it would be too obvious if they did.

"Yeah, you don't have to bring that up every time you see them. We all internalized it the first time we heard it" Namjoon told her, doing his best not to seem annoyed even though by now his patience was running out and he couldn't be blamed either. He had a half hour of hearing about the goddess Aphrodite's affairs because Jin had to put that idea in Bomi's head as well. As if the conversation about Bomi's beauty wasn't draining enough.

"It's okay, we don't mind," Roel decided to play it cool as she walked through the living room, intending to go to her room to put her bags down and laugh in peace with all this hilarious mess Bomi brought wherever she went.

Yumi, Hana and Miran followed her between giggles, which caught the eye of Rin who was coming into the living room and her sisters passed her by.

"Why are they laughing?" She asked, not yet noticing Bomi's existence on the couch but as soon as she saw her she got her answer.

"Nothing much. I choked on the water and they find it funny." SoYi found the need to cover up for her sisters, thinking that Bomi might suspect that they were laughing at her.

"Now, why would anyone laugh at that? Don't tell me. You're the one that everyone's bullies, aren't you?" Bomi looked at SoYi with a sympathetic look as she let her hand touch SoYi's knee and SoYi looked at her in confusion as she didn't expect her to jump to that conclusion after what she said.

"Ah, I understand you. Do you want a hug?" She opened her arms wide and SoYi couldn't help but pull back momentarily as physical contact, especially with people she didn't know or didn't particularly like, was not her forte.

"How do you understand her? You're an only child. No sibling was ever bullying you" Namjoon couldn't help but comment on her words, earning a hit with his elbow from Jin who was sitting by his side.

"Well yeah, but I've seen so many movies. What do you take me? I obviously know how bullying is." Bomi answered him with a smile, no trace of anger on her face, then turned back to SoYi and grabbed her hands in hers.

"Don't worry about anything. You'll have me now. It doesn't matter if you look boring and sleepless with dark circles under your eyes. I'll accept you and do you the honour of being my best friend." She announced and now SoYi's eyes grew wide open, having a little difficulty in understanding how the fuck she got herself into this mess.

"Εh? No - I. I don't get bullied. I swear. I'm fine, all my sisters are very nice to me." She tried to rectify the situation but all she got was a look of adoration from Bomi.
