Mother PT. 2

Y/N'S POV

You woke earlier than normal, before Alcina with the sun shining into your eyes. The brightness makes you roll over in Alcina's grasp, waking her up in the process. She grumbled as she rolled away from the sun as well, taking most of the blankets with her. Less than a minute later, Bela and Daniella both came sneaking into the room, not realizing you were awake yet and climbed into the bed either in attempt to annoy or to warm up from the chill air. Either way, they were now taking up the rest of the available space on the bed making you warm, yet uncomfortable.

You all lay there for a few more minutes until you hear the door open further than it already was, creaking as it did so. Miranda walked in, looking a bit confused probably hearing the girls sneak past her room. She stood at the foot of the bed for a minute before sitting on the corner of the mattress.

"You all sure look comfy."- Miranda said with a light giggle

"Oh, good morning mom, as you see our bed has been invaded."- Alcina said, sitting up slightly

"Sorry, we can't help it, it's so nice here." - Bela spoke up from her spot

"You guys need to leave your mother and Y/N alone, there is definitely not enough space on this bed for all of you."- Miranda told the girls

"I second that opinion." - You say while pointing your finger into the air from your spot in the center of the bed

"Come on girls, out. I want to have an adult conversation with your mother and Y/N." Miranda said somewhat sternly

"Finnnneeee."- Bela and Daniella both say as they begrudgingly got out of the bed

"Wow, it's crazy how much room there is once the girls aren't in here." - Miranda told you after they left

"I know, it's like they don't have their own beds and rooms to sleep in. "- Alcina said sarcastically

"Anyway, I came in here to  talk to you about some things. First of all, that Maiden of yours, Astrid I think was her name did a phenomenal job last night, both on dinner and just being sweet in general while I was up making some tea last night." - Miranda said

"Yes Astrid is both a great Maiden, and one of my best friends since I moved here"- You told her

"Secondly, Y/N what are your pronouns, I believe I forgot to ask yesterday and I didn't want to get anything wrong, I know it's a fairly big deal in the community." - She continued

"Oh, um, it's just She/They. Thanks for asking and also knowing about it." -You replied, a little surprised

"Lastly,  I believe that there's a farmer's market going on in the village today and I think it would be fun for us adults to go and shop for a couple of hours today." - She finished

"I think we could do that, I'll just have Astrid hang out with the girls while we're out." - Alcina told her

"Alright then, you two get ready and then we can go down to the village." - Miranda said, walking to the door

"I didn't expect any of that first thing in the morning, I'm still barely awake." - You told Alcina after Miranda had left the room

"Yes, well my mother is very straightforward and she's quite assertive." - Alcina replied, getting up from the bed

"Well, she's also super sweet so at least she's not mean about anything. " - You tell her, getting up to use the bathroom

Both of you start getting ready, you put on some black cargo pants and a crop top with stars and moons all over it, and adding some jewelry and black combat boots to pull everything together before doing your makeup. Deciding to go fairly simple with a purple smokey eye and some sharp eyeliner before finishing up with mascara.
