Chapter 50: The First Power

ChiChi smiled and stretched, Wendi did the same, Ise tries desperately to shake the disappointment out of her head, provided by her dear father. ChiChi looked up "ready?!" Wendi nodded, Ise nodded as well. ChiChi smirked and waited any moment, they'd strike, Wendi and Ise looked at each other...before bolting at ChiChi, providing a kick each with full force, ChiChi ducked, no wall she could make could be sturdy enough to block that attack, instead she went under them and tagged them with two kicks of her own. Ise recovered quickly and laid in with some half decent punches of her own, ChiChi smirked and blocked all of them, they were quick and powerful punches. But ChiChi had luckily encountered a small time villain named Rat-man, who was quite the quick puncher, and she beat him pretty easily, so she had the experience to counter her friend. Ise then mixed it up, switching out the light, boxer like jabs for heavier, weightier strikes. ChiChi has to use Castle against these, shifting her body weight to her dominant foot so she could take the strikes better. Wendi ran a ring around her, to activate Exercise, the legs came out and she honed in, for a sneaky back kick against an unsuspecting ChiChi, Ise saw and allowed her Green Eye to flare, bringing out the semi-tangible arm, ChiChi was about to take four strikes. Ise grunted and punched with her three fists, breaking through the walls and sending ChiChi into the impact of Wendi's kick. ChiChi was sent flying, hitting the ground with a splutter and a cough. Ise and Wendi smiled, they were proud. ChiChi felt her heart beat, it was in her ears, she stood, looking at her friends...she didn't look quite right, Ise looked "hey, wassup Cheech. Are your friends hurting you that badly?" ChiChi...bolted forward, clotheslining Ise and flooring her, Wendi was terrified. Her eyes looked fogged over, not milky, just...clouded "ChiChi...w...what's wrong?" She asked scared. ChiChi looked at her, in an instant, Wendi was taken right out by a punch. Maki looked on in horror, no...this couldn't be...right, Haku shook him "Maki. We need to restrain her!" Haku said, Royal had already readied 10 strips, Maki nodded. She needed to be calmed

Royal fired the strips, but the possessed ChiChi dodged them, tearing 4 of them out and threw them back. Luckily, Royal dodged them "her speed and strength have doubled" he relays "and...she's definitely possessed by something. It's not the work of Tsumu. In fact. I don't know what it is!" Maki looked "i...i think I do" he opened his wings and flew towards her, she saw and launched a spike strip at him, he effortlessly dodged and launched himself at her, her eyes were mad and erratic, her once friendly smile had morphed into a evil, nightmarish grin, she tried a clothesline, but Maki dodged and kicked her in the back, she fell, getting swiftly back up, Aelivanda had a vial out just in case this got dire, Robeje couldn't safely do anything, he would kill her, even in this seemingly enhanced state. Maki looked at her "Chiaki...c'mon, listen to me, you don't wanna do this. You don't want to hurt people this badly" she grinned more, her mouth opening "wh...who's Chiaki?!" Haku watched, his daughter had been possessed "Maki, what the hell is in her?" "I...I think it's the Devil..." Haku snarled "be serious!" "I am!. There was a fable, stretching back around a thousand years ago. And I'll help you with that, you have to combat him with strength" she nodded and sat there

Ise and Wendi woke, ChiChi was talking to Maki, away from the hubbub "have you seen anything?. Anything you haven't been able to explain?" "N-no...I don't think so" Maki thought, if he was right. This would explain a few occurrences, 1. Her weird bursts of strength and 2. Her delayed Each. He looked at her "c'mon, we need to go somewhere. To a friend of mine. She'll be able to help you, well, help us" ChiChi nodded, they went. Haku sat with her friends, they weren't angry. Just a little confused "s-so she has a demon inside of her?" Ise asked "if Maki's right, yeah" he lit a cigarette, puffing, Wendi looked "is she going to be ok?" "If Maki's right...yeah. Sorry, I'm a little thrown as well" he thought. Her mother, his wife was so protective over her as a baby. For the first few years of her life, ChiChi couldn't see anyone. Then when school came along, she asked for Haku to send someone to protect her. And he thought of one person, one person who would protect her from all of the dangers of the world. Maki Engoji. So, to say he trusted Maki was an understatement. He was silently indebted to Maki, and right now. He needed Maki to be right. Yukio sat at home, knitting a new scarf for her daughter, it was a peaceful afternoon and she was wrapped up in a blanket and mittens, suddenly there was a knock at the door. She shuffled, annoyed she had to pause her intricate knitting. She went to the door, only to be pleasantly surprised "what a surprise, I didn't think I'd be seeing you so soon. Mr Eageus" the man smiled "please Yukio, you've known me for long enough. Call me Eletus" he smiled, she allowed him in, looking out before shutting the door.

Tsumu was humming to herself, as Big and Little Brother walked in, bowing "Dear Sister. Have you completed your contemplation, Mr Eageus has asked us to report to Mr Newcreed presently"...but she remained silent "De-" "I heard Urusai" the tall, yet tired man nodded "I'm sorry." Little Brother smiled "using our names now Big Sis, are we in trouble" "not at all Jogo. Your Sister was just thinking about...Dearest Father. I feel he would be proud of the past I took now. But I fear his judgement about what I nearly became" Urusai hugged her softly "you can't think that. Father wouldn't of hated his oldest daughter for her choices. He wouldn't, he could never hate you" Tsumu looked up, into Urusai's kind eyes "Thank you Dearest Brother" she kisses his cheek and stood, fixing her dress "Now, we shan't keep Mr Newcreed any longer." They left for his office. Tsumu felt right in her convictions now, that was a small blip. This was her true legacy. To become The Maestro. Tsumu Gakki
