"Are you scared of me?" I ask Hermione as I sit down next to her at the table for breakfast. Typically you sit with the rest of your house for meals but I usually sit with the Gryffindors. I share a room with Margret and the others, I see them enough, I like to spend as much time with Hermione and the boys when I can.

"Ummm, no. Why would I be scared of you?" Hermione asks taking a sip from the drink in front of her.

"Just wondering." She gives me the nice try look and I continue, "I ran into Draco last night and he said the only reason people are nice to me is because I'm a Merlin, and that everyone is actually just scared of me instead of my friends."

I feel like a child running and telling her mom about her bully's at school.

"That's ridiculous, of course people aren't just nice to you cause you scare them. Everyone knows you are nothing like your brothers." She turns to face me, her lips turning into a frown. "Promise you won't let him get in your head."

Too late for that.

"I won't, I was just wondering." I lean forward and grab some food from the plates sitting in the middle of the table.

"What are we talking about?" Ron asks, joking us from the other side of the table.

"Nothing, just Draco making other peoples lives miserable to feel better about his own misery."

Ron's raises his eyebrows, Hermione coughs into her hand. I look up as she nods her head past Ron. Draco is standing by the table with the rest of the Slytherins. Blaise is talking to him, but Draco looking right at me.

There's no way he could have heard me all the way across the room, but my cheeks still go red. He probably has some sort of sixth sense that tells him when he's being talked about, it would explain his ego.

I break eye contact and look back at Ron. "Ah. That's.....interesting." Is all he says before he starts shoving food in his mouth.

"Anyways, did you do the DADA homework Ronald?" Hermione asks, she doesn't ask me cause we did it together. With the two of them starting their own little conversation I zone out, thinking about what Draco said last night yet again.

I miss the days that Draco and I would just completely ignore each other's existence all together. It was so much easier back then.

I see someone walking over to us out of the corner of my eye and turn to see Harry making his way through the great hall. I smile, and raise my hand to wave at him. He returns me a smile of his own, which fades quickly when he sees Ron sitting with us. Instead of sitting down he keeps walking past us to the farther end of the table where nobody is sitting.

Hermione sighs, "I'll go talk to him." As she's getting up Ron responds, "he isn't the one who should be angry."

Hermione has already started to walk away so I'm the one that answers, "you seriously can't think that Harry put his name in the goblet. You know him he wouldn't do that."

"Oh yeah, it's completely unlike Harry making himself the center of attention." Ron rolls his eyes.

"Ron! He's your best friend and he is really gonna need you, he's gonna need all of us. This is a dangerous tournament."
