The sun blooming from within the clouds revealing it's bright colours of ray as they refract into a slight yellow glow, falling upon the peaceful village. The stone faces of the previous Hokage's greeted the few civilians as they slowly began tricking out of their homes as the day grew out, streets becoming more and more alive as the shops opened up for the day.

It was lovely saturday in Konoha, most people looking forward to spend time with their family and friends, a few tourists coming in with their family to enjoy the weekend.

Although the village seemed quite jubilant,

The Hokage of the village could not relate.

It has been nearly one hour since she'd be brought into the crushing embrace of the lady hokage, the little girl gave up on making efforts to calm down the guilty lady while the older women couldn't help but feel horrible, she held the little girl as if she'd drop dead the moment she lets go.

Tsunade couldn't explain the amount of hurt and guilty she felt that day, it made her chest feel tight; her breath coming as painful rasps, as she kept replaying the words of the Uzumaki again and again in her own head,

She put her in the academy at three, made her an anbu at six-.. or sh-! or was it five!? She couldn't even imagine how stupid it sounds!

If that doesn't bring enough trauma to her already sad life,

she forced her into an abusive orphanage, with no way to escape but for the girl to run away with missions.

No wonder the child always looked for more mission, she spends more time out of the village than in, the girl didn't even ask for more fee to be paid for her extra work! Hell, she only gets enough money to get herself some food till her next mission, which would always be within a day.

Tsunade felt as if she was the one who was personally holding the handle of a knife that keeps torturing the child.

She felt as if she were the one who's guiding it's movements across the girl's life, she felt as if she was tearing this small child, the thought made her want to hurt herself.

No matter how many times Kana insisted that it was ok. It really wasn't.

Hell! How would she even know if it was ok?! she hadn't even been in this world for more than a decade, her life has been filled with..-

Nothing.

Tsunade tightened her hold on the awkward child,

Her life,

there had been no good memories for her to cherish, no friends her age, no family she could remember, no one she could fully trust, no one  to depend on.

No one to even cry to.

No one to express herself..

No one to guide her, no one to teach her what's right and wrong.

She may be the smartest of her age, she may have read various different kinds of books, Books that are hard to keep up with for even a grown up, she may even understand things many adults couldn't.

Yet, she never even had a person to tell her to pray before eating

or to brush before going to sleep,

or to eat healthy food three times a day,

or to-

"Lady Hokage." She paused,

The child pulled away, holding onto her arm as she gazed up at the senju,

"I couldn't help but notice, you've been very tense."
