"i can't believe you'll be leaving soon" Yeonjun scoffs while sitting on Ruby's bed

"you know how much i need this trip, ever since that break up with kai" ruby packed her suitcase

"you know how huening is...." Yeonjun lays on her bed while playing with a tennis ball

"i'm over it tho" Ruby said confidently

"how long will you be gone?" Yeonjun pouted

"hm idk like 4 weeks?" Ruby thought

"HOW CAN YOU LEAVE YOUR BESTFRIEND FOR SO LONG" yeonjun playfully pouts and hugs her

"ay calm down, i'll write you letters regularly" the eighteen year old girl chuckled

"it's not the same" yeonjun ruffles her hair

He stood up and took something out of his bag. He held it behind him. Ruby looked up confused when she saw him acting nervous out of a sudden.

"so uh i bought you something, you better like it" he held a jewelry case in front of her face while looking away.

Ruby eyes her bestfriend suspiciously before taking the case out of his hands. She opened it and her mouth dropped in awe.

In the case was a beautiful silver heart shaped locket. She took it out of its case and smiled at him.

"YEONJUN I LOVE IT." she hugs him

Yeonjun smiled in victory while he watched her admire the locket. He walks behind her who stood in front of the mirror.

"let me help" he put the necklace on for her

"it's so pretty omg" Ruby didn't look away from the gift

"i bought you this so you'd feel like i'm always with you" yeonjun looked away in embarrassment when he realized what he just said

"Jun you're the cutest" she kissed his cheek

"right well uhm get your sleep, we'll drive you to the airport tomorrow morning" he quickly left through the door.

Ruby chuckled at her friend's shyness before getting ready for bed. The trip makes her very excited, she was always dreaming of traveling to Edinburgh.

She put her comfortable pajamas on and went to bed.

"WAKE YO ASS UP"

Yeonjun jumps on her bed and Ruby sits up out of fear. She removes her eye cover and glares at the smirking boy.

"are you mental?"

"crazy over you for sure" he smirks

Ruby scoffs and gets out of bed. Yeonjun watched her walk over to her bathroom and gather her stuff.

"are you going to watch me get dressed or what?" she smirks

"oh uh no" yeonjun becomes a blushing mess and leaves

Ruby chuckles and starts getting ready, while she was putting on jewelry, she looked at the polaroids on her wall. Most of them were with yeonjun.

She had one picture of her family in the middle, it's the only she could save before her old house burned to ashes.

She kissed the photo and went downstairs where Yeonjun and his parents were waiting for her.
