Chapter 9: Huh?

My eyes fluttered awake hearing the blaring noise from my phone which made me rush to turn it off. My eyes were squinting as I rushed around my blanket to try and find my phone

The noise still blaring as I finally found my phone underneath my stuffed animal. I sighed after turning the alarm off and rubbed my eyes as I got adjusted to light that seeped through the blinds

I look around and of corse Kasey had already gone to class. For someone who had gone to college as long as she did I thought she would want later classes

I slowly get off my bed and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth. As I spat the last of my toothpaste out of my mouth I looked up at the mirror a pimple was starting to grow near my cheek

I groaned in frustration that this was happening now. I still washed my face and put some moisturizer on. I had been stressing out about winter exams for some time now and haven't been getting the greatest sleep in a while since I have been cramming for the past month

I rush to put on some clean sweats and hoodie as I rushed out the door and out of the dorm building to start to walk to my first class of the day.

The weather was a bit murky and cold. The wind wasn't helping either as it pushed back my hair every-time it blew making my face cold and bit rosy

When I finally reach inside the west hall the warm air hit my face making me sigh as I place my bag down and start to pull out all my notebooks and my computer

As I log into my computer I heard the heavy doors of the west hall close. I thought it was Mr.Barnes so I didn't really bat an eye to whatever was happening

I could still hear some chatter among the class of people whispering and laughing. As I reached for something in my bag I noticed someone was standing right next to me

I looked up to be met with inaki, his hair frizzy and his clothes a bit messed up. He didn't carry a bag. "What are you doing here?" I asked standing up

"Surprising you, surprise!" Iñaki said waving his hands around laughing a bit as shock still laid upon my face

"I thought you coming back later. By the end of the month." I asked as I grabbed Iñakis arm and pulled him out of the west hall as I was trying to figure this all out again.

"Yeah I said that, but I didn't mean it." Iñaki said as we stood near the water fountain. "Yeah...but the semester is almost over. You couldn't even come back if you wanted to, unless your going to do some summer classes." I said folding my arm

"I will be doing summer classes, anyways I have something show you come on!" Iñaki said it now his turn to grab my arm and pull me

My bag and everything still left behind in the class as Iñaki brought me to his dorm, his side a bit empty. Only a bed and a few things up on his wall

I sat down on his bed as he sat down next to me before grabbing his remote. He switched the tv on almost immediately going to Netflix and clicking on "One-Piece. Live Action"

The opening scene rolled in as Iñaki turned to look at me anticipation rolling off of him as he looked so excited

I gave him a small smile as we started to watch the first episode. I felt his body ever so slight move closer to me as the episode continued

We sat on silence for the whole hour as the episode came closer to an end. I felt Iñakis pinky finger graze over my hand making me look up at him

The eye contact was almost suffocating. I felt Iñakis body heat come off him as he slowly moved closer to me

I gulped. My stomach basically doing back flips. I braced myself for a kiss but Iñaki didn't kiss me. I felt my face flush as he whispered in my ear

"Did you like it?" He said his voice sounding very worried

"Of course I did! You were great!" I said my hands starting to sweat as Iñaki moved away from my ear.

"So um...what else do you want to do?" Iñaki asked making me mess this my hands for a second before I got an idea

"Let's go to my dorm, I've got funnier things there." I said as we both got up and walked over to my dorm

As soon as we opened the door I saw Kasey give me a small smile, a mischievous one.

"Hey...you guys go any plans for the rest of the day?" Kasey asked leaning on the edge of her bed

"No, why?" I asked giving Kasey a look that obviously didn't work as she continued smiling at me

"Well there's a party and this sorority I know and you know...maybe we could all go?" Kasey said shrugging and looking at Iñaki

"Well I don't mind, do you?" Iñaki asked placing a hand on my shoulder

"I don't mind." I said making Kasey smile as she got down from her bed

"This is going to be fun" I thought as Kasey dragged me out of my dorm and Iñaki following quickly behind
