Yeonjun had one thing and only one thing in his mind and that is to be brave for once and not hurt the person he liked the most. He has done enough of that and now he can't hurt Beomgyu or himself anymore just for a person who cannot accept that she won't get whatever she wants just because she is popular or rich. If he cannot fix this now he may have to give up the idea of being with Beomgyu ever again. And the thought itself was horrifying.
The moments from the day before were replaying in his brain without any break. Yeonjun was beating himself up having all kinds of thoughts. What if he admitted everything he said was true? What if he did not let that entitled monkey walk all over him? What if he was not such a big coward? What if Beomgyu despised the sight of him now? The thoughts did not leave him alone even for a second.
He was on his way to the place he met Seo Uri everyday but today it was for a very different reason. He had to break it off and put an end to whatever mess he created for himself thanks to the entitled rat. As always there she was sitting on the staircase with a smirk that a donkey would envy. But the demeanor she emitted today was slightly more evil. It did not take Einstein to figure out that she had something brewing in that pea sized brain of hers.
"Oh well well, look who decided to show up after deciding to break our little arrangement and kiss the one person who was strictly off-limits" her voice was rather calm making it even more frightening.
"Listen here, you entitled fish I am my own person and You have no frikin right to make me your puppet. I am done not standing up for myself and letting you do whatever that you wanted in the first place" Yeonjun spoke with such force he was shocked at himself.
She stood up making her way towards him "Oh so now you stand up for yourself?" She was more mocking Yeonjun than anything.
Yeonjun stood unscathed "And what are you trying to do about that?" He was not the one to back off now.
"Ohh just something that we agreed upon earlier" Seo Uri was now actively threatening him.
Just when he was standing up for himself he was reminded of how the person in front of him will go to great lengths to ruin someone's life just because things did not go her way. Anyway he will not let this get in his way. He did not have an idea what Beomgyu went through in his high school but imagining how the person who is standing in front of him it can't be anything good and he is going to make sure he will not let Beomgyu go through that again.
As he was second guessing himself someone made their entrance making his jaw land on the ground.
"And who would this be?" Seo Uri asked genuinely puzzled.
"Yeonjin why in the name of heaven are you here?" Yeonjun disregarded Seo Uri and questioned the girl in front of him.
"How can I live all happy knowing that you are being threatened by this evil spawn of Satan" The girl in question answered.
Seo Uri snickered "And what gives you the right to meddle in between a couple".
"First things first let me clear this up for you. YOU GUYS ARE NOT A COUPLE. Second thing me being his twin gives me every right to meddle with whatever you call this a ReLatiOnsHip" Yeonjin was not the one to stay silent.
"You are going to regret ever disobeying me" Her voice laced with anger
"Oh darling I never obeyed you in the first place. My brother here just got a little confused now that I am here I will clear it all" Yeonjin was as cool as ever.
"You seem to be new here. Just ask your brother about me and you will be regretting your choice of words" Seo Uri's arrogance was showing as she was circling Yeonjin as they were speaking.
"I don't give a flying fruit about who you might be "
"Listen here you little brat your brother and I had an arrangement and he broke it so now he have to face the consequences and trust me when I say that I am going to make his life a living hell thanks to his overly arrogant sister who don't seem to understand her place"
"Your arrangement was built on delusions sweety so I suggest you go visit a psychologist that may help you see reality better"
"You little--" Uri was now charging towards Yeonjin with full force
Yeonjin held her back and spoke "So you think you can take me down. I think you misjudged me I may not seem like it but you are no match. And if you ever and I mean ever threaten my brother I will take my own sweet time to pay you back tenfold. So I suggest you to be careful"
With that she left the withering girl mumbling a small 'pathetic' as she was now practically dragging Yeonjun away from the staircase and to the cafeteria where his friends sat. Yeonjun was still in shock with the conversation that happened and came back to reality only when Soobin slapped him.
"Hyung come back to reality"
"Yeonjin when did you come back from The U.S and why are you here. Who told you about Seo Uri. How did you know she was threatening me. What is all this I don't understand a thing" Yeonjun was more than confused.
"Hyung you will die of suffocation if you keep on rambling like this" Saying this Kai gave him a bottle of water. After he was done he looked at his sister expecting her to answer all the questions he had.
"Don't you have a class now? Just meet me at you apartment after the class and Soobin please see that he does not fry his brain"
Saying that she just went out of the cafeteria and left the university campus. Choi Yeonjin was as by now you understood Yeonjun's twin, she was older by 2 minutes. One thing the twins shared was that they took bullshit from no one. She was studying in the U.S to become a cardiologist and only returned home when she felt like it.
