Chapter three: police brutality

John back handed his wife in anger. He was intoxicated he had been out all night and him and his wife were arguing. She hit the floor and began to scream and yell. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. " GO AWAY" John yelled the door flew off the hinges. The husband turned around and threw a bottle at the man. The man grabbed it out of the air and walked into the light. He was wearing khaki cargo pants, a black long sleeve shirt And a hat and sunglasses. He threw the bottle at John. It hit his head and he hit the floor before getting back up and rushing at the man.John went to punch him put he dodged it and pulled out a baton and hit John in the side.then getting on top of him and punching him until his whole face was covered with blood. The woman continued to scream in fear while watching her husband get beat to death.

2 hours earlier

Ripley woke up to Tony and Carlos pacing around the room they were whispering about something or maybe Ripley was just tired and didn't understand them. "Come on we have one more person to visit". Tony said towards Ripley. Ripley got up and put on a wife beater his eyes felt heavy and it felt like he was wearing weights whenever he took a step. They all walked out to the car . Ripley pulled down the seat and got in the back and the rest of them got in the car after. Tony didn't seem to be in a good mood he sped off into the street. His hands were shaking the whole time. After what felt like forever for Ripley they pulled up to a apartment building. They went inside and walked straight up to a elevator. The elevator took a couple of moments and the the doors opened. They walked inside and Tony clicked the button with the 3 on it. They slowly went up now Tony's anger was obvious his fist was balled up to the point where it looked like his knuckles would bleed. When the door opened Tony ran up to room 320 and his face wrinkled up in anger. Ripley and Carlos ran up to him and saw why he was mad. Tony rushed in the room and pushed the man off John. Ripley puked at the sight of johns face it was disgusting. Carlos pulled out a gun and ran into the room. He saw Tony and a man fighting. He couldn't tell who was winning Tony got whacked in the face with a baton then he threw the strange man into a curio cabinet. Carlos looked over and saw a woman on the ground screaming he helped her up and put her in another room while she punched and grabbed at him. "GET HIM" Tony screamed Carlos turned around and saw the man jump out of the window with zero hesitation. Carlos ran up to the window and saw the man limping out of a trash can and fall to the ground . "Come on let's get him" Carlos said before running out the door with Tony behind him. Ripley saw them run and followed them Tony clicked the elevator at least 20 times before punching it and going towards the stairs. He rushed down the stairs with Carlos and Ripley behind him. Shortly after they were running out the door Tony scanned the outside before going up to the alley way. They saw the man snap his leg back into place Ripley turned away in disgust. Tony and Carlos ran up to the man and pulled there pistols out. "Calm down put the guns down" the man said " who are you and why shouldn't I kill you right now" Tony said with anger in his eyes. " I'm the real hero in this world and try and shoot me" the man responded calmly before getting up. Tony put his hand on the trigger the man turned over towards Tony and grabbed his gun before disarming Tony. Carlos pulled the trigger on the man he dodged it with ease and disarmed him as well. Tony got up and went to punch the man before the punch getting caught. The man put Tony against the wall and punched him in the nose. Tony fell to the ground and held his nose Carlos got up and pulled out a knife and rushed towards the man. The man grabbed the knife and twisted Carlos's arm making him drop it. He kneed Carlos in the face and threw him to the ground. The man walked towards Carlos and balled his fist. "Over here son" the man turned around and got punched in the face by Tony. He hit the ground and his sun glasses fell off his face. His hand scanned the floor for them before he felt them. He grabbed them but before picking it up Tony stomped on his hand. The man screamed in pain and looked up. "Oh that is nasty" Tony said almost puking where the mans eyes were supposed to be were to big burn holes. It looked like his eyes were burned out of his head. Carlos got up and walked up to Tony and looked down at the man he looked away immediately at the sight of the man. Tony took his foot off of the mans hand and picked him up. He dragged his body then slammed it against the wall the man chuckled. "Who are you and what happened to your face" Tony snapped. " I already told you I'm the real hero and you can blame this look on airborne" the man spoke through his teeth. "You know what we could use someone like you son" Tony said with a smile. "I'm not a pet" the man said "the enemy of my enemy is my friend or I can kill you now" Tony responded. Tony picked the man up "what's your name son" he asked the man hesitated before saying "Damian". The man gasped for air and leaned on tony hard. Carlos walked up to Ripley and patted his shoulder"come on lets get to the car" he said. Tony helped Damian into the back seat Ripley sat beside Damian and tried his best not to look at his face. "I hope you can drive" Tony said towards Carlos. Carlos nodded and got in the drivers seat. While tony held ice against his nose before throwing a pack to Damian. It hit him in the face hen he picked it up "I don't need this" Damian said "i regenerate" he continued. Tony raised his eyebrows in surprise "maybe we do need you son" he said with a smile on his face. "So how do you fight blind" Carlos asked Damian. "When I became blind all of my other senses were heightened and some how my arms can get chopped off and they'll grow back" Damian responded. Carlos nodded he was impressed by Damian's abilities. When they pulled up to the motel everyone got out of the car. When the stepped out they could properly see Damian in the street light. He was a young black man where he got cut and where he was bleeding was completely healed now. They walked up to the room Tony went to open the door but Damian grabbed his hand quickly. Tony looked over at him "there's 4 men with guns in there prepared to shoot us on sight" Damian said. He opened the door and quickly dodged out of the way before pulling out his baton an brutally beating the men in the room a bullet flew into Damian's arm. He fell to the floor and got back up immediately tony walked in the room and shot the man four times in the chest. The man fell to the ground. Damian looked at him and began to hit him repeatedly with the baton "was that necessary" tony asked. "He wasn't dead" Damian said in pain. "Well we can't stay here" Tony said Damian nodded the others walked in the room Ripley immediately walked out and puked. And Carlos just stood there in confusion mixed with shock and anger
