The anticipation of the party was thick in the air, a gathering of individuals with one common focus - desire. It was a tempting offer, one that tugged at me despite the unsettling feeling in the pit of my stomach. I knew deep down that I had to see it through.

I examined myself in the mirror, curiously checking my outfit to ensure it struck the right balance.

"You look good today, who are you trying to impress?" Cate's voice interrupted my thoughts, and I glanced at her with a blank expression before resuming the process of straightening my hair.

"Myself, clearly," I responded with a hint of sarcasm, rolling my eyes as I added the finishing touches to my makeup.

"Alright, let's get this over with. I'm ready for the free drinks and the drama," I smirked at her, reaching for her hand and pulling her out of the room.

We walked outside in comfortable silence, our steps echoing in the dorm's hallway. As we reached the quad, I noticed everyone waiting for us. Cate rushed over to the group, embracing Luke, while I approached at a more measured pace, studying the people around me.

"Holy shit, you're here!" Andre exclaimed, giving me a brief hug before turning back to the others.

"Marie, this is Storm. Storm, Marie," Cate introduced me to a girl, and I extended my hand to shake hers.

"Yeah, we know each other. You do look like a Marie," I said with a playful grin before moving to stand next to Cate. My eyes briefly met Jordan's, who couldn't resist scoffing at me.

"You like what you see, Jordan?" I quipped.

He hummed contently, his gaze lingering on me as he approached and slowly wrapped an arm around my waist.Jordan's whispered a warning that sent a shiver down my spine, and I simply nodded before pulling away and walking in the opposite direction.

"So, what are we waiting for? Are we going to get wasted or what?" I exclaimed, a mixture of anticipation and anxiety coursing through me as the night's festivities loomed on the horizon.

A chorus of agreements and cheers erupted from the group as they eagerly headed towards the car. The night air was heavy with excitement, and I couldn't help but get caught up in the infectious energy. Yet, the air was giving me a warning i couldn't tell.

As we entered the party, the thumping bass of the music enveloped us, and the room pulsed with vibrant, colorful lights. It was filled with laughter, drugs, and the undeniable allure of sex and drinks.

We walked through the this hall until we were stopped,

"Reservations under?"

I put my hand on Cate's shoulder, smiling at her giving her an incentive on what to do.

"We don't have one." She reached her hand over to the bouncer, smiling at him curtly,"But you don't give a fuck right?" He nodded his head slowly before letting us get in.

The room was filled with a diverse crowd, each person with their own story, their own motivations, and their own desires. It was as if the chaotic world of Goldolkin University had been condensed into a single room for this night.

Jordan was close by, his gaze never far from me. As I moved through the crowd, I couldn't help but feel his presence like a magnetic force, pulling me in. Jordan's enigmatic aura was hard to resist, and I knew the night was far from over between us.

Despite the allure of the party, the shadow of uncertainty still loomed over me. I couldn't help but wonder what the night had in store, what secrets it held, and what new chapters it would add to the chaotic story of Goldolkin University. The evening had just begun, and it was a journey filled with unpredictable twists and turns, a world where the pursuit of heroism often led to unforeseen consequences.

We all sat together laughing as Andre pulled out Molly, i rolled my eyes at their behaviour, seeing them so engrossed in drugs. Jordan noticed my change in mood,

"Is that Cocaine?" Marie asked sitting up straight to have a closer look, i put my hand on her shoulder pulling her back down,

"These fuckers snorted all that shit, it's just molly that's left." I laughed taking another sip of my glass of rum,

"So you in Freshman"Jordan questioned Marie, i shifted uncomfortably at his questioned, i pushed my hand further into her shoulder giving her support, i whispered into her ear,

"You don't have to if you don't want to"

She gave me a soft smile,"No thank you"

I pulled her and Cate towards the dance floor to party,Cate wasted no time and to start pulling my body in to dance with her. I followed her lead, eager to let loose. The temptation was strong, and I couldn't deny the thrill that came with each step. I stared at Jordan who was now sitting on the couch in their girl form, i mouthed them to come over to dance. Jordan shook her head in disagreement , i walked over to the bar to get another shot seeing Jordan behind me,

"Sneaking up on people isn't a good look for you, Jordan," I remarked with a touch of sarcasm, lifting a glass to my lips to take another shot. The liquid burned on the way down.

"What is a good look for me, then?" Jordan responded, her voice low and teasing. I took her hand and led them into the midst of the undulating crowd.

The sultry music pulsed around us, mirroring the tension that had been building between Jordan and me all night. Our eyes remained locked, unable to break free from the pull that held us together. The atmosphere was charged with a blend of longing and uncertainty, an undeniable energy that demanded our attention.

With the music as our guide, Jordan moved closer, her body swaying in a seductive rhythm that perfectly complemented the music's sensuality. Without the need for words, we danced together, the space between us gradually vanishing.

As we swayed and moved, the rest of the world seemed to dissolve into a hazy blur. It felt as though there were only the two of us, and the tension between us was intoxicating. Our dance was a delicate balance on the precipice of desire, the unspoken attraction simmering just beneath the surface.

We communicated through movement, a silent dialogue that conveyed more than words ever could. We teased, we challenged, and our bodies moved in perfect harmony with the music, a testament to the undeniable pull that had drawn us together.

But just as we lost ourselves in the moment, a scream shattered the enchantment. My gaze snapped in the direction of the commotion, where a lifeless body lay on the floor.

"Damn it, I knew something was going to happen, but not now," I muttered, cursing my own distraction.

Jordan's arms wrapped around me, drawing me close. "You knew this was going to happen?"

I hesitated, trying to find the right words. "I can't explain it. I just had a feeling."

Her question lingered in the air as I stared at the lifeless form. It felt as though the world had gone silent, and I could only see people's mouths moving. Jordan's urgent question brought me back to reality.

"What are we going to do?"

My mind raced, and I stood there, staring at the lifeless body. Everything around me seemed muted. Jordan's arms pulled me away, guiding me toward the exit.

"I need to go to church again," I mumbled, my voice barely a whisper, my gaze still fixed on the scene I was leaving behind.
