Aurelia Keene had dreamed of playing for the Australian Matildas since she was little. The inspiration that became a reality, was a story Aurelia could tell for years. Making her debut at the age of sixteen, in 2014, at the women's Asian cup. She became a leading icon for the Matildas.
Although she was never the best striker, or best defender. She always tried her best when it came down to moving around the field. She was a mid-fielder, she had the best agility out of all her teammates, being a huge helping hand when the ball was being passed up and down the grass field.
Outside of the Australian Matildas, Aurelia played for Arsenal Football Club, alongside her bestfriend, Caitlin Foord, and one of the Matilda's captains, Steph Catley.
When the 2023 FIFA World Cup comes around the corner, Aurelia Keene is back playing for her home team. Managing to fall for the wonderland trap of Sam Kerr, the Matildas captain, and a girl who's always been in love with Aurelia.
