"Ji aapki chai"

[ your tea ]
Fatima said, handing her husband his morning tea

"dhanyawad, vese no-"
[Thanks, by the way no-]

Just as Ahmed was about to call out for his daughter, she gracefully descended the grand staircase, her presence immediately capturing the room's attention. The soft, melodious notes of a piano filled the air, setting the tone for her arrival.

Nora Ahmed Ali made her entrance with a sense of purpose and grace. She moved down the stairs with a quiet poise, each step resonating with a subtle, enchanting rhythm. The chandelier above cast an elegant glow, illuminating her path.

Nora was a vision of understated elegance in her deep-blue suit. Its flowing silhouette accentuated her natural beauty, and the suit's delicate details added a touch of sophistication to her appearance.

Her raven-black hair fell in gentle waves around her face, framing her with an air of timeless beauty. Her eyes held the depth of a thousand stories, sparkling with a blend of determination and grace, drawing the gaze of everyone in the room.

With each step, Nora's presence filled the room with an enchanting aura. Her father, Ahmed, stood in admiration, his heart filled with pride and love.

"Ji baba ham aa gai"
[ yes dad, I came]

Comes a soft voice, so delicate.

Ahmed goes near Nora and kissed her forehead loving. If Fatima was his strength then Nora was his weakness. A father can't help but always be worry for his daughter. Ahmed was no less.

Ahmed smiled at his little moon and said,

"Chale beta "

Nora giggle and said,
"Ji baba "

Nora's pov

As I stepped into the college, a wave of attention washed over me. It was a familiar sight, one I had grown used to. People's curious glances and hushed conversations followed me wherever I went. But today, there was something different in the air, a palpable tension. It wasn't me they were wary of; it was the presence of my father, Ahmed Ali.

My baba had earned a reputation as a strong, influential figure in our community, and that aura of power and respect had an impact on everyone, including my college peers. They gazed at me with a mix of curiosity and apprehension, but none dared to approach me. They were cautious, hesitant to step into the formidable shadow cast by my father.

However, amid the sea of uncertain faces, there stood Meera Malik, my true friend. Her warm smile cut through the tension, and she approached me with confidence.

"Oor ham aapse jaladi poocha hai nora madam"
["And I reach early then you nora ma'am,]

This brings a smile on my face, whatever situation it is but Meera always have a way to lite up my mood.

"Mai dheak sakti hu Meera, chalo oor late ho jayega "
[Yes I can see that Meera, let's go now]

"Ji ha zalima "
[Alright darling]

As the clock ticked, we decided it was time to head inside for the exam. With Meera by my side, I felt more confident, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
