A Pink Halloween Night

The light of pink Jack-O'-Lanterns beam from the Sloth Ring of Hell

Magenta spiders craft their cotton candy webs to catch ravenous flies

A previous prey's spirit lurks where some of the autumn blossoms fell

And then takes another long look at where his body and a bouquet lie

A flock of blood-thirsty bats are as rosy as the feathers of a flamingo

A fuchsia brew is bubbling in a witty witch's rose gold cooking pot

A skull nearby feels somehow alive again with a little orchid pink bow

You treat yourself to the warmth and sweetness of a ruby chocolate shot,

But a bigger and far more sinful temptation that awaits you is quite a trick

You begin to blush as you take a faint but effective whiff of my perfume

The two of us hop on the neatly coated wood of a "borrowed" broomstick

We soar to the nearest meadow where pastel carnations had bloomed

My skin sparkles with my strawberry lip gloss in the full moon's light

Let the essences of pink of this night haunt you as I take a tender bite
