Four days after becoming soldiers, we had gotten used to training and the daily routines of military life. The camaraderie among us had grown stronger as we relied on each other for support and motivation until that day.

We were in front of our drill sergeant, and as he spoke, "Marvin Luckman, Adalia Cyalon, Jenna Lattle, and Nathan Brewlan, after 4 days of intense training, it was time for you to earn your power skeletons."

Just then, three other soldiers entered the room, each carrying a sleek, metallic exoskeleton suit. The drill sergeant continued, "These power skeletons will enhance your strength, speed, and agility, making you formidable warriors on the battlefield."

Adalia, Jenna, and Nathan were filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness as they stepped forward to receive their power skeletons. Without hesitation, they put them on, strapping themselves tightly into the suits. The weight of the exoskeletons felt foreign at first, but as they took their first steps, they could already feel the surge of power coursing through their bodies, which I felt was left out.

"Hey, where's my power skeleton?" I asked, feeling a pang of disappointment.

"Relax, I held onto it," Max said with a mischievous grin. He handed me back my power skeleton, making sure to secure all the straps before stepping back. As I put on the power skeleton, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation, ready to join the others in experiencing the surge of power.

"Hahaha, it's great to be back in the game!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with enthusiasm. Max chuckled and nodded in agreement, knowing that we were about to embark on an exhilarating adventure together.

"Now then, you'll be sent out on a mission; you'll be assisted by Team Quebec," the drill sergeant announced, his voice commanding attention.

"What's the mission? monster infestation? mysterious detonations?" I asked. The drill sergeant paused for a moment, until another voice spoke "Neither.".

We all turned to see the general, as she was wearing a pretty armored suit and had a confident smile on her face. "Your mission," she said, "is to deal with the prialle wolves' foot soldiers that were left behind after they came after your world. We may be able to gather information on emperor Vito Daggett and his plans for further attacks. These foot soldiers are highly skilled and dangerous, so it's crucial that we neutralize them swiftly and gather any intelligence we can. Our success in this mission could be a turning point in our fight against the prialle wolves and their tyrannical leader."

"Alright, what type of ship are we using?" Jenna asked.

"We will be using the state-of-the-art stealth reconnaissance ship, the Strong Bird." "It's equipped with advanced surveillance technology and has the ability to remain undetected by enemy radar systems," replied the general.

"Good, let's get to work," I said with determination. As we prepared for the mission, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement, knowing that our actions could potentially bring an end to the reign of terror imposed by the prialle wolves and their leader.

There we were—me, Jenna, Nathan, Adalia, Max, Shane, Shaun, and Abigail—in the back of the ship as we heard the roar of the engines and our lively conversation.

"So in your world, the government makes very poor decisions," Abigail said, her voice filled with disbelief.

"yep, it's a mess," I replied with a sigh. "Corruption runs deep, and it's up to the people to fix the stuff they broke," I said.

"you remember that time the government thought that they made an unequal trade for prisoners?" Jenna asked.

"Oh yeah, I remember hearing that," Nathan said.
