Prapai holds his sobbing mate controling his own tears, as they leave the place and turned to return back to the healing-house.
Sky lightly sobs eyes looking ahead but not seeing anything Prapai was holding Sky's hand whole time and walking quietly when his foot bumped with something hard in the snow, he looks down at the object but the snow was covering it completely.
Prapai shakes his head at it and was about to step away when he stops almost crossing it and shoves some snow away calling Sky over.
Sky gasps at the finding, a similar house structure but a little smaller than other was situated nestled between the two rocks.
Both exchange shocked glance at eachother.
Prapai gingerly opens the door and Sky gives a cry of shout his knees buckling.
Tears stream once again as Prapai gently removes the plant from the ground its fragrance floating in the air.
Prapai gives a charming smile to his crying mate holding the blue snowdrops in his palms.
Two days later...
"But he had opened his eyes!!" Phayu insisted eyes flashing, frustrated with his pack healer.
"I totally believe you alpha, but try to understand that it's very common for the patient to open his eyes, twitch his fingers or jerk his body while unconscious, but I'm afraid he has yet to gain his senses completely." Joy tries again telling slowly to the alpha.
Ever since the incident Joy had tried her best and with Sky with her side it was no less than a magic that Rain is still breathing with them.
But for alpha it wasn't enough, he wanted his mate safe and sound this instant and Joy have to pray with all her might that alpha Phayu will not snap at her everytime she deliver the same result. She had to walk on eggshells around him and she doesn't blame him afterall it was his mate that is tangled between the thin thread of life and death.
"Don't lose hope alpha by far this is the most positive sign after so long, it means that medicine is working, I'm sure Rain will gain his senses very soon" Joy calmly states trying her best to not show any hesitation or fear and once Phayu calms a bit leaves the room giving him space.
Phayu grumbles in his chest and watch the figure lying on the bed, his mate.
Rain.
He stroke the hair on his head, the softness lingering on his fingers, and watched him with longing eyes.
Skin still soft and smooth, long lashes touching his cheeks, the rosy lips pressed together still taunting him.
The slow rise and fall of the chest is the only thing that's holding Phayu back from submitting to the oblivion.
Three months, it's been three months since the incident that day and every second of that three months Phayu had lived a thousand years of agony without his mate's warm embrace.
After the incident Phayu had lost his mind and was no less than a savage animal, crying, howling, destroying everything.
If it was not for his Dad alpha Vegas to make him stop he was pretty sure there pack-house would be in crumbles by now although it was still in a poor state of condition but Phayu doesn't give it a thought. His only focus was on Rain.
After the dreadful moment when Rain laid on his arms cold and motionless everything inside him shut down.
It was Prapai and his twin Saifah that brought them back to pack house and hoped for every possible way that will help Rain.
