That scared me so bad ! Thought I would get caught for a second
I figured to wait til I heard his car pull away , so I get up and start on the dishes like he asked
About ten minutes later I was done and started to head up to my room , all the while dialing Luke's number
'ring 'ring'ring
" Hello Izzy !"
" Hi" I say
" Are you okay , what's going on ?" He asks
" Can I not just call you because I miss you ?" I ask
" Oh sweetie yes of course you can , I am still worried about you because of what happened, it's all my fault that you are grounded" he said
never that I'll heard Luke say those words
" No it's mine I should of asked him first ,after all he is my dad "
There was a pause on the other line
" Luke ?"
" Hey I gotta go , talk later !" With that he hangs up on me
Why is everyone acting so weird,what's going on?
I decide to call Sammy next
It doesn't even ring one time before he picks up
" Izzy !!! Thank god you are calling , all morning I've been thinking about you !"
" Sammy you want to come over and play ,you can leave around 11 so Ethan won't see you ?" I ask
" Umm I don't know Izzy , seems like trouble to me " he says
" Please Sammy , everyone is acting so weird and I need you to comfort me " I say
I hear him sigh and then he says that he'll be there soon
" Oh thank you Sammy ,thank you !"
While I wait for him to come I did something I know I shouldn't have , but I know Ethan won't know ...I left my room
I walked around until I decided to check out his office
I try to open the door but it's locked!
What! Sense when are we locking doors now ? Wait..what's going on ? First Ethan starts acting weird now this?? I'm a little confused
I stand on my tip toes to see if I can feel a key on the top of the door
" Please be there , please be there" I begged out loud
I feel around the door but I get nothing. Where would he keep the key ? Think Izzy think ! Umm maybe he has it with him. Now I'm super curious as to what's behind that door ? Is My father really who he says he is ? Does he really just work in an office for hours ? Is there something else going on , should I be worried.
So many thought clouded my mind that I didn't even hear the front being opened
Why did Luke end the call so quickly,it's not like Ethan was with him , because they don't work together
I felt a hand on my shoulder and I scream
" Ahhhhhhh!!!!"
" Izzy ,calm down it's just me " Sammy says
" I called your name 3 times. What had you distracted? And wait he ungrounded you ?" He asked
I look at him as I'm trying to calm my breathing, would everyone stop scaring me !
" I thou...thought you were Ethan " I say as I finally catch my breath
" Sorry I tried calling your name , but you didn't answer " he says
" Sammy ! Ethan locked his office" I say
" What " he trys the handle and looks at me
" Do you have any clue as to why he would do that ?" I ask
" I don't know Izzy , maybe he doesn't want his paperwork messed up " he shrugged his shoulders
" Maybe your right , I might just be overthinking it "

After we found games and played about three different ones we started to just look through our phones next to each other on my bed , we were both laying on our stomachs
Once in awhile we could be heard saying
" Look at this video it's so funny "
" Look this is you !"
" Izzy stop or I'll tickle you "
"I'm not even touching you "
" Move"
" Look at this "
" Sammy you kicked my leg!"
We moved away from each other because apparently he would get mad if I bumped into him and I would get mad if he bumped into me
" Stop don't talk to me. Loser lame oh wanna be " I sang as I watched the video as the people danced in the video I heard Sammy laugh
Just then I hear the front door open and I look at the time '12:09!'
We both look at each other and panic alittle
" Under the bed ,the bed " I whisper and Sammy quickly goes under the bed as we heard foot steps up the stairs
I quickly act like I was busy and look at my phone looking for music
" Izzy ?" Ethan opens my door
" Hi Dad " I say and see that he had bags of food in his hand
" I got you some food from fresh kitchen, hope you like it ?" He passes one of the bags to me
I grab it and look inside , umm the food actually doesn't look that bad
" Thank you " I say
" Your welcome...wait ..Izzy did you leave your room?!" He almost yells
" N..no I didn't" I lie
" You are lying , care to answer correctly this time ,huh?" He moves closer to my bed and I start to panic thinking he knows Sammy is under the bed
" I didn't leave my room " I say
" Lie!" He says as he grabs something off my bed and I realized I forgot I'm not supposed to have my phone
I shrink back and try to think of something
" When you called me down to breakfast that's when I grabbed it , you gave me permission to leave my room and you never out right said I couldn't have my phone" I say
He proceeded what I told him and looks at me then the phone
" You called Samuel and Luke ?" He asks ,I guess he thought I made a point
" Yes , I got lonely and it's not like I'm out of my room ,or having fun " I easily lie again
" Okay , but now I'm taking your phone " he says
" What if I need to call you , you are leaving me home alone , what if there's an emergency" I ask
" Your in your room ,the house is locked and no burners are on ,you will be fine " he says
Why can't he just for once be reasonable!
" Fine " I say
" I'm leaving now , you know the rules , I'll be back later " he says
" What time ?" I had to ask so I still could have Sammy over ,thank goodness he doesn't see Sammy
" Around 7:30 " he says
" Okay "
After he walks out and down the stairs I grab my food and go sit at my desk , my stomach growling
" Hey , can I come out now ?" He asks
" Shh just wait til we know he's gone " I say and take a bite of food wishing he got more because I have to share with Sammy
