— Tape Begins —

// Exhausted, Just was sleeping on the couch with saliva trickling down the left side of his cheek. The sound of the front door opening as Cherry walks into her room, noticing him sleeping as she smiles to herself. Quietly shutting the door as she steps into her bedroom, grabbing a blanket and placing it over Just. She sees his mask hung up on the wall and takes it off of the wall as she inspects it. Burnt marks, dried-up blood, deep scratches, and dirt cover the mask. She sighed sadly, feeling bad for Just, she couldn't imagine what he's been through. She walked into the bathroom with it, cleaning it up for a while. Time passes as she leaves the bathroom, the mask good as new as she hangs it back up. Cherry then heads back into her bedroom, sitting on her desk as she looks through the camera. Seeing the photos of a strange Entity emerging from the waterfall of goo, she feels uneasy as she then sees the pictures of Soren being tortured. Cherry covered her mouth, tearing up, saddened by seeing Soren in pain. She started to devise a preparation plan in case the Entity within the goo were to ever escape the cave and cause havoc. Time passed, and Cherry exited her bedroom and looked down at Just. She walks up to him, kissing his forehead before leaving the room. Just then awakens from his sleep, blinking a few times as he sits up on the couch, covering his face with both hands. //

Just

"Soren... The Goo... D.E.F.E.A.T... Shadow-Walkers... So much shit to think about, so much crap to worry about. God, what is this ink stuff? How can we even stop it? Whatever the hell is in that goo, it's slowly emerging. The clock is ticking... Won't You help me, my Lord?"

// Just gets up from the couch and sees the camera on top of the table, grabs it, and puts it away into his inventory. He went to grab his mask as he was in shock; seeing that it was clean. He grabbed it off the wall, looking at it as he couldn't help but smile. //

"Thanks, Cherry, you didn't have to. I wish I could hug you and say thank you..."

// Just puts his mask on as he leaves the room, exiting the building the earpiece starts making a static noise as he hears Jelen's voice. //

Jelen

"You up, Wanderer?"

// Just responded with a relaxed tone of voice, his day a bit brighter thanks to Cherry cleaning his mask up. //

Just

"Yeah, I'm up."

// Jelen responded with leadership, ready for action. //

Jelen

"We've got work to do. Another duo work, me and you. Cherry is preparing the town in case the Goo situation gets out of hand. We save Soren and take this thing down, yeah?"

// He smiled underneath the mask, feeling courageous as he headed out of the town and into the dark Forest. Multiple voices whispering in his ears, curling his fingers as his bones cracked; focused on his mission. //

Just

"Yeah, let's do it."

// Just hears the tree branches moving around as he sees Jelen traversing through, summoning the Blades of Vengeful Gust as they are getting close to the cave; the cave entrance is still taped up. Creature roamed around near the cave as he looked up at the trees, leaning his back against one as he radioed Jelen. //
