Once everything was settled in, the group took off over the sea. Tsunami and Glory held Clay's talons to guide him over the ocean, while of course Permafrost held on extra tight to not fall off. Phoenix nervously grabbed Tsunami's talon tightly, not letting go to not fall down. The Seawing noticed and rubbed his talon to calm him down, which sort of worked.
Just then splashing was heard, and Starflight looked down to see dolphins leaping out of the water. "Ooh, dolphins!" "Can we eat them?" Clay asked in the good ol Clay fashion. "No!" Riptide exclaimed, glaring lightly at the Mudwing. Permafrost shifted on the spot, grumbling uncomfortably. Starflight then held his head, and looked back up to the approaching islands. "Seawing guards will be approaching, and they're not going to like seeing Riptide. Their commander is Shark, the brother to Queen Coral." he said, flying slightly lower. The Seawing sighed, knowing it was true. Tsunami hummed, keeping her wings steady as she held onto both Clay and Phoenix's talons.
As they flew closer, they noticed a group of Seawing guards flying to them, most notably Shark. "Halt!" They yelled, all wearing scowls and then hissing at seeing the group, especially Riptide. "Oh boy..." he sighed, his ears pinning back. "Riptide! What are you dragging home now?!" Shark hissed, glaring daggers at the younger Seawing. He took in a deep breath, gesturing to Tsunami beside him. "I found the missing princess along with Gi-" "From the scroll?" asked another guard, eyeing her skeptically. "Is it really her?" another asked, not really believing what Riptide said.
"Oh really??" Shark scoffed, "You? Riptide? Out of all dragons? Wouldn't that be such a coincidence?" "Yeah you don't believe him, Shark, but he's telling the truth here!" Tsunami stated flatly, but Shark of course ignored her as he eyed her. "What makes you think this snip of a dragon comes from a stolen royal egg?" just then the female scoffed and amusedly glared at Shark. "Why? You lose a lot of eggs often?" she began, causing Riptide to widen his eyes. "Maybe whoever is in charge of the palace defense isn't very good at it, then! Oh wait! That's you, isn't it?"
Gill then flew forward and in front of the dragonets, causing the guards to all gasp. "Her story makes sense." he began, looking as if he was holding back emotions to keep a serious face. Riptide nodded, taking Tsunami's side. "Yes, and she knew about- about Webs. And look at the patterns under her wings!"
Tsunami didn't think twice before lighting her wing patterns, revealing the royal seawing markings. The guards were taken back, now seeing who Tsunami really was. "It's her!" "The missing princess!" they gasped, and then Shark lit up his wing patterns too, which revealed the same markings. Gill flew up to Tsunami, seeing her wing patterns and smiling at them. "Uhh... G-Gill? Are you-" "I'll explain when we get to the palace, but for now..." the green Seawing then turned to the blue-grey Seawing. "Shark, take us to the palace." said Seawing nodded, "Very we-" "All of us. Yes that includes the Mudwings, Sandwing, and Skywing."
Shark seemed annoyed at this, and once Gill turned back around he made a twisting motion with a finger while glancing at the other guards. "Very well." Tsunami didn't know what the motion meant, but would ask Riptide or Gill later. "Now take us to my mother." she demanded, to which Shark shook his head. "The queen is conducting business at the Deep Palace. You may wait for her in the Summer Palace." with that the Seawing turned to another guard. "Send word to the queen." as he said that, Tsunami was quite excited, although she kept it to herself.
"Uhhmm... what's going on? We still can't see." Clay muttered, keeping steady while flying. Glory then smirked, glancing at where Tsunami was flying. "Tsunami got us out of the trouble she got us into in the first place!" "Glory! Be nice!" Sunny stated, and Starflight guessed out loud that they must be near the entrance to the Summer Palace if that was the welcoming committee. Then the group all flew to a huge raised island, and on top of it laid a huge canopy of trees. Tsunami was not impressed to say the least. "Don't tell me that's the Summer Palace." Riptide chuckled. "Just watch." As he said that, Shark tucked in his wings and dived head first into the water, followed by the guards and then Gill.
Tsunami sighed and followed the Seawings not long after the guards guided Clay and Phoenix through the tunnel, which was underwater and had many twists and turns. She looked behind to make sure her friends were ok, which they were despite the fact that the guards were blinking and flashing their scales at eachother. She grunted, turning to look forward and to keep swimming. "More of that Aquatic... hopefully mother understands that I can't speak it and teach me." she thought, blinking as she glanced at the light coming from the end of the tunnel.
She hummed as she angled her wings upwards to resurface, the current taking her up above the water. Once on the surface, Tsunami looked around and gasped in amazement. "Woah!" she followed the other guards while looking around. She had never seen anything like what she was seeing before, and of course Tsunami was proud of it. For right now, it was all a matter of waiting for her mother, the queen.
