TODAY TRENT WAS GOING TO TAKE the twins back to me. Honestly I missed them but I was sick, and I didn't want them to get sick.

Me and Trent separated before they were born and ever since we learned how to coparent our kids. One week at mine and the other at his, or we're all at mine.

I was sitting on the couch watching a random tv show on Netflix when the doorbell rung. I dragged myself up walking to the front door opening it. "Mama!" My daughter smiled as I hugged her.

"Hey babies." I said engulfing my son as well "we miss you so much." My son said "I miss you too." I responded before I pulled away from the kids

"Mama is sick okay, so you can't get too close." I warned them "you just hugged us." My son pointed out "that's a one time thing for now." I laughed letting them in.

"I'm hungry." My daughter pouted "I'll make you some-." But before I could finish Trent spoke.

"Let's not exhaust mama alright, daddy will make you food." Trent said "yayyy!" Our son cheered "thank you." I mouthed to Trent and he nodded.

I closed the front door and we all went into the living room beside Trent who was gonna make food for the kids. "Here's the remote." I tell my kids "thank you." My son smiled

"Mama you should go get some rest." My daughter spoke.

I smiled at her whispering a thank you before getting up from the couch walking into my room.

I let my hair out of the claw clip and pulled the covers over my body closing my eyes.

A few hours later, i was woken up by someone shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see it was Trent. "Oh hi." I mumbled

"I made you some food." He said "thanks." I smiled as I watched him placed a bowl of food on my bedside table.

"how are you feeling?" He asked "alright, where's the kids?"

"i set them down for a nap." He replied and I just nodded. We stayed in an awkward silent while i ate my food when he spoke up.

"let's get back together." Trent started causing me to look up at him confuse "i can't do this anymore, this whole co parenting thing, I can't resist you anymore, i need you, and i want you and the kids at my games wearing my jersey." He added

I stayed quiet, i didn't know what say.

"Please say something." Trent pleaded "i don't know trent." I sighed "we'll make work, please y/n."

I thought about it. I missed trent a lot. But my pettiness took over. I missed him, i miss having someone sleeping by me, and I hated co-parenting.

"We can try." I finally spoke up, which resulted in Trent pulling me into a hug "thank you." He mumbled as i hugged him back
