The gays

Tw: slight homophobia :(

Knock knock. Loud bangs come from the other side of my bedroom door.

I'm still shirtless with Charlie on my chest, when the door opens.

"Shit." Charlie says in a panic, and quickly sits up, but I grab his hand tight to calm him down.

"Ew, fucking fags in my house!"
Of course. David. He covers his eyes as if he's never seen an affectionate couple before. He's pathetic honestly, if he can't even deal with seeing a bit of cuddling, he's never gonna get a partner is he!?

If this were to have happened just a few weeks ago, I would have been panicking like fuck. However, I've now realised that I don't give a shit what David thinks or says, as long as I'm happy, which I more than am. I won't let him ruin my life anymore.

"Grow up David." I yell back as he starts walking away,
"The gays will be all around soon!!"
I smirk, and he puts his middle finger up at me, then slams the door while continuing to make sick noises.
"Yeah piss off!" Charlie adds in the hope that David can still hear.

We both break into fits of laughter. That homophobic prick can't hurt us anymore. Plus, it felt nice to finally say something back.

"Hopefully he'll learn eventually." Charlie says, half arsed.

- Time skip -

The following day I'd pretty normal. We go to school together, chat in form, have lunch together, nothing really out of the ordinary. However, at lunch, Otis comes over to our table to talk to us, which is a bit strange as he barely talks to us anymore since my fight with Harry.

"Yo mate," He starts, "I'm having a party at mine tonight, wanna come?"
I glance over at Charlie and we exchange a curious look. I may not really be friends with Otis anymore, but a party with my boyfriend does sounds kinda fun.

"Alright, we'll think about it." I reply.
This way me and Charlie can decide together rather then agreeing on the spot. Otis nods and walks away. I turn to Charlie again

"So, wanna go to a party, Boyfriend?"

Later that evening, I find myseld waiting outside Charlie's house holing a bouquet of flowers.

Its a lovely Autumn evening, and I'm stood there in a Navy fitted shirt and light Chino's. The weather is surprisingly nice for England, with a gentle breeze and slight humidity in the air. And the sun is just setting, so the sky is a beautiful pink colour. Very relaxing if you ask me.

But for some reason I'm getting kinda nervous. It's just Charlie, there's no need to be nervous. This whole situation just feels so surreal. My first party with my boyfriend. I have a reason to be nervous, right?

However before I have any more time to panic, Charlie's front door opens.

"Hi"
