"Baby, I have to run to the shop to do a cover up. I shouldn't be long." Chris walked in the bedroom

"Ok." Erin quietly replied while watching tv

Since her studio got burned down she's been a little depressed. Her replies were short and simple, she'd only smile when she was setting up stuff in Masiyah's room or she felt her kick.
Other than that she was quiet and moping.

"You need anything?" He asked

"No." She snuggled into the pillow

Chris sighed. He hated seeing her like this "Ok, I love y'all." He pecked her lips then her protruding belly

"Love you too." She gave a small smile

1hr and 30 minutes later

While Chris was gone Erin had a craving for some brownies. She didn't want to worry him so she decided to make her own.
She maneuvered around the kitchen, feeling her baby girl kicking away at her rib cage.

"Someone's hungrier than me, huh?" She talked to her belly

Erin decided to have a snack while waiting for her brownies to bake so she began cutting up a cucumber. She figured she'd balance the sweets out with something healthy.

As she was cutting, Knox began barking from the basement. Soon as Erin exited the kitchen to go see what was wrong, a gun was pressed into the left side of her head

"I see you didn't kill this baby." London said "Go sit down." She pushed Erin back into the kitchen

Knox continued barking, knowing something wasn't right. He could smell London's scent, but he was locked downstairs while Chris was gone.

While that was going on at the house, Chris was on his way back home, but decided to stop by the flower shop and get Erin some roses. Then he headed to her favorite restaurant, Castillo's, and picked her up some hot honey wings and chili cheese fries.
That was her go to meal this entire pregnancy.

But back at the house, things were going south, fast.

"You know it was supposed to be me who had his baby." London sat in front of Erin, aiming the gun at her "I tried so hard to get pregnant by him." She chuckled in disbelief

"London, let's just talk about this, ok?" Erin held her belly, getting nervous

"Oh shut up." She fanned Erin off "Now you wanna' talk? Whatchu' wanna talk about? How I shouldn't kill you because you pregnant?" A wicked grin spread on her face

"Yes. Look, you let me live and I'll let you have Chris. I'll leave." She tried to compromise

"Tuh." She chuckled "You know he's not going to just forget about you. He'll never fully be mine unless you're dead." London stood up and cocked the gun

"London wait" tears welled up in Erin's eyes and she could hear her heartbeat in her ears "Please don't do this...Please." She sobbed

London stared at her for a few seconds, mentally debating with herself "I'm not gone kill you..." she took a pause

Just then, Chris was getting out of the car and walking up the driveway. He heard Knox barking and he knew that wasn't normal, so he put the items he'd brought for Erin on the ground, pulled out his gun, and took the safety off.
As he eased into the house he held the gun in front of him, ready to shoot.

"I'll just kill your baby." He heard London's voice from the kitchen and then a shot went off

Chris raced into the kitchen and saw London standing over Erin's lifeless body, chuckling.

"You bitch!" He made himself known before pulling the trigger and sending two shots to London's chest, killing her

He rushed over to Erin, getting on the floor. "Baby wake up." He examined her body seeing blood gushing from her stomach "Erin, please." His eyes began watering while he pulled out his phone to dial 911

Chris paced the waiting room, unable to sit still. His mind was racing and there was no slowing it down.
The love of his life is in surgery fighting for her life and their baby's, and he could only pray that everything would be ok with them both.

"What happened?" Naomi and Lena rushed over to him

"She's my child." Lena sneered at Naomi

"I gave birth to her." Naomi spat back

"That doesn't make you her-"

"Hey! Enough of 'dat shit." Chris butted in "Erin's in surgery right now and I don't need y'all bickering."

"He's right." Melanie came in with Mario and their son in the carrier

"Can you tell us what happened?" Terrence sighed

"My ex broke into the house and shot Erin in the stomach." Chris sat down, resting his face in his hands as he felt tears forming

Mario sat beside him and consoled him "Everything gone' be ok bro'."

"My sister." Melanie's voice cracked

"How long has she been in surgery?" Lena asked

Chris took a deep breath "Bout two hours."

"Why did you wait so long to call us?" Naomi furrowed her eyebrows

"Because I ain't feel like hearing y'all annoying ass mouths." He glared

"Family of Erin Daniels." The doctor finally came from the back

Chris rushed over to him first. Preparing to hear what he had to say.

"Well..." the doctor too a deep sigh

Hehehe

London is finally out the picture for good. Ol' crazy ass. Sad part is, Erin and the baby might be out the picture too.
