"you are fortunate, as i was just about to start training, i am assuming you are misato katsuragi, and rei ayanami, the master's description of you especially miss ayanami was very spot on, i am winter schnee, queen to lord adriel marchosias, his third in command just below the empress, erza scarlet, who is his second" winter introduced herself
"a pleasure to meet you miss schnee" misato said
"winter will do, or if you must call me a title, i have been referred to as the specialist, by the lord's forces" winter said
"he has an army" misato asked perturbed, winter nodded
"all four satans are required to train and command an army, the seraphim legion is the newest army formed, to take the place of the slowly disbanding silver legion, led by lord falbium asmodeus, satan asmodeus is taking the opportunity to retire by naming lord marchosias, his apprentice, since lord adriel is currently the only blood member of the marchosias family he is allowed to keep his title as head of house marchosias, and still be the satan asmodeus, adriel marchosias asmodeus will be his new name when the ceremony is complete but that is not for some time" winter explained
misato was shocked by this she didn't know shinji had the skill to be a military leader, then again she basically ignored the poor boy, and knew very little about him
"what does pilot ikari do besides command this seraphim legion" rei asked, hoping to gain more information
"he is an inventor in fact he is one of the two most famous inventors in the underworld, the other being his good friend and only real rival, lord ajuka beelzebub, his two main projects are the advanced peerage sets, and of course the vaunted elixir, but he is known for a third project as well, the angel blade: tsukihime, is his crowning achievement his pride and joy, but only his peerage knows the full capabilities of that incredible blade, and only those blessed by his power may wield it, in other worlds his own peerage and that of his wife's" winter said
"he's married" misato said in shock
"unfortunately not by his own choice, it was a political marriage forced upon him, he and lady marchosias are slowly starting to get closer since she moved into this castle six months ago, but that was only after three years of failed attempts, many of us, wish our master would stop hiding in his lab so often buried in his work, and enjoy life a little" winter said sadly as she led the way into the dungeons
"it's rather quiet down here" misato said
"the current project lord ikari is working on, isn't going very well, he has hit an impasse and it's annoying him significantly" winter told them, as they entered the lab proper which was barely lit
"master, you have guests" winter said
"take them to the main sitting room" i said
"master they are with me now" winter pressed
"who in the un..........." he trailed off as he turned to see exactly who she had brought down
"misato" i said
"hello, shinji, you have changed" she said
"and you look the same as ever, beautiful too" i said as i put the spear i was holding down, rei instinctively picked the spear up
"no, DON-" he was cut off, as the spear responded by blasting her with it's power, to the point she had to call on unit-00 for aid
"this is unit-02" she said, as she managed to contain the power she had been blasted with
"how is that possible" misato asked
"the angels and by extension the EVAs cannot exist in this realm without a soul, a human soul specifically, when i took control of third impact i released all of the souls from the EVAs, with the exception of unit-00, as i learned that soul would not wish to leave it's home, when i came here, i came with eleven EVAs, the nine unmanned units from SEELE, which are now mine, i have yet to start on my experiments with them, EVA unit-01, which i created a new weapon out of, be complete fucking accident, which inspired me to start work on this" i said
"what did you intend to do with it" misato asked, as she stared at the spear rei held
"the weapon is not mine once complete i would have locked it away, until it's wielder chose to collect it for herself, i wouldn't just give it to her, i'd test her first, but if she past the spear would have been hers" i said
"asuka" misato asked, he nodded in confirmation
"but it's incomplete, it needs something, i don't know what, but i am going to find out eventually, i have an inspection to make next week" i said
"of this seraphim legion" misato asked
"you told them i see, winter" i said, she bowed her head
"yes master, if i have displeased you, i can report to erza for punishment" winter said, i waved her off
"it doesn't matter" i said, before returning my attention to the NERV employees
"so are you here to kill me or do you need me to fight for you again" i asked bluntly
