"oh, then why are you here, you would need outside help to find me, and i do not believe for a second NERV sent you purely out of the kindness of their hearts" i said

"you are correct pilot ikari, we came to ensure you were not a threat to the new world" rei said, i blinked before nodding in understanding

"you were making sure my angelic side didn't cause me to start an impact event and destroy the world, i respect that, it is good to be cautious, so what were your orders if i wasn't corrupted" i asked

"to just talk" misato assured him "we were to first inform you if you ever chose to come home, you would be welcome with open arms, many of the new world see you as their savior, for releasing them from third impact, and the higher ups understand you may not like them for what was done to you, and will not force any action upon you, if you chose to remain here for example we would let you, not that we had any means of forcing you anyway" misato said, i gave a snort at that last part

"true, i am much stronger then i was previously, so i am here i am obviously not corrupted, now what" i asked

"how far along are you at understanding the EVAs" misato asked curiously, i laughed at that

"i was an angel, i know more about them then Dr. akagi by this point, the only person who might have more knowledge on them and by extension the EVAs is my mother who lived as one for ten whole years, i was one for maybe a month before becoming a devil................................. why" i asked accusingly

"the EVA project has been picked up by the UN, it hasn't gone very far, they want a contingency in place before beginning the process in full" 

"a contingency" i asked

"the most powerful EVA ever created was that of your EVA unit-01, everyone even ritsuko are in agreement at that front, we were given the order of attempting to convince to return as the pilot of it, as deterrent against any would be tyrants" misato said

"and the goal of the EVA program" i asked

"to end war" misato said, i blinked confused

"there would be three piloted units, each unit controlling three unmanned units, using a modified dummy plug system, rei is actually heading this project, as she believes in the goals represented" misato said, i nodded

"twelve units for each major country, sending their units to a designated battlefield whoever loses their units lose the so-called war, well thought of, and" i said

"at the moment construction is occurring solely at NERV and is despite the resources we have been given very slow going" misato said, i paused as i gave it some thought, picking up the spear of unit-02, and looking at it

"what if we shift our focus" i asked

"these weapons i am creating are meant to summon forth the EVA that it is created from, my tsukihime can't do that..................... yet, but i can potentially make these weapons mass scale, and if we were to tweak these rules, i could even see my fellow devils siding with one nation or another, and yes, the more i think about it the more i like this idea, tell me katsuragi what is the UN willing to give me in return for aiding in this project of theirs, i'll even pitch in and help ayanami, i have some thought about the dummy plug system and my weapons that could be of use" i said to myself, they looked at each other

"do you have a means we could come and go easier" misato asked, he smiled, held up a finger, and returned with a dagger

"here do not lose it, by swiping the dagger it can open a portal between our worlds it is keyed to entrance of NERV and my main sitting room here, i made it in case i ever wanted to return, and i honestly believed NERV to have been disbanded" i said, misato took the dagger

"we'll be in touch" misato said

"i am sure you will, don't return immediately, give me three days, i will also need to speak with my colleagues about this, it intrigues me, it may not intrigue them" i said, misato nodded, and she left

the next day shinji had met with the four satans, and lord bael, as he had explained his meeting with katsuragi, and the plan he had in mind

"this would solve many disputes, and give each of the clans more territory" sirzechs said

"so long as their side agrees" zekram said

"if they don't then we remain here, if we do however, we can leave this pocket recreation of the underworld, our people would be able to spread out, and the entire population of humans from my old world have AT-fields they will be compatible with my creations" i said

"we could form something similar to the contracts we have with magicians to them" ajuka said

"exactly" i said, zekram paused, he was a traditionalist, yet he also knew their population was dwindling, adriel's appearance aided that but the aid of an entire human populace would help even further, and they wouldn't have to hide their presence to boot

"your proposal, has my approval, lord marchosias, should the lilin of your world agree, the devil race will agree as well" zekram said, those words were enough to pull the four satans on board, i smiled

"understood, i informed their liaison to meet me again two days from now, when she returns i will enter into negotiations with her" i said, they nodded

"if there is nothing else" zekram asked, no one responded

"then i call this impromptu meeting adjourned" zekram said
