The day began with boisterous laughter and enthusiasm from all the academy students who had graduated, now officially Genin. To my surprise, I noticed Naruto had positioned himself next to Sasuke. Not that sitting next to Sasuke was odd, but I had thought that Naruto hadn't graduated, the headband on his forehead said otherwise. I'm happy for Naruto.

I glance over to the door to see Ino and Sakura having another argument, this time about who entered the class first. Then, was followed by Sakura racing away from Ino quickly and pushing Naruto out of the way so she could say her greetings to Sasuke.

I raised myself up to check if the poor boy was okay, and thankfully, he was. They were all so aggressive with him, and I found myself often being the one to treat his injuries afterward. Although, upon reflection, Naruto's injuries seemed to heal fairly quickly. I couldn't help but wonder why that was.

I couldn't help but notice a faint, bluish glow surrounding him. It was subtle, almost like a shimmering aura that lingered briefly before fading away. I shook off the odd observation, assuming it was just a trick of the light or my imagination playing tricks on me.

Sakura continued to monopolize Sasuke's attention, and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for Naruto. It seemed like no one paid much attention to him despite his newly acquired Genin status. I decided to talk to him, wanting to make sure he didn't feel left out.

"Hey, Naruto," I greeted him with a friendly smile. "You became a Genin! How does it feel?"

Naruto grinned, a mixture of excitement and pride in his eyes. "Thanks! It feels awesome! Believe it! I'm gonna become the greatest ninja ever!"

My smile drops and my lips part at seeing him so happy, this is the first time I've seen Naruto this happy. It was so unusual to see him so upbeat and it to made me happy but I start to remember back into the past, did I never make him this happy?

Naruto sits down next to Sasuke and begins to glare at my brother and it made a small giggle leave my throat as Sasuke talks to him. "You want something?" Sasuke asks.

"What's that supposed to mean? You talkin' to me?!" Naruto retorts back, almost stunned that Sasuke had spoken to him. I honestly do not understand the rivalries that these boys have going on, I mean Sasuke doesn't even acknowledge Naruto and yet they say it'sa rivalry.

If these two end up on a team together it will not end well.

All of a sudden Sakura pounces onto Narutos back making him fall to the side and my eyebrows furrow at the sight. They are all so mean to him and for what reason? I have no clue.

"Good morning, Sasuke! Is this seat taken..?" Saukra announces. Although, Sasuke didn't reply to her, she immediately took her seat in between Naruto and Sasuke. Not even I had time to tell Sakura that Naruto was sitting there. I lean forward and I see Sakura's eyes light up in sparkles as she sits next to Sasuke. I really don't understand what's so good about my brother. None of the boys at the academy frolic around me, and I'm a complete female version of him.

Not that I want to have fanboys or girls, I know that it would be annoying.

Only a moment passed when Naruto pounced on the table in front of Sasuke and started intently staring at him. I tilt my head in confusion at what the boy was doing but I decided not to question it as Naruto does quite a bit of odd things. Sakura sure had a couple things to say at the sudden closeness and it wasn't too long before one of the students in front of us accidently bumped Naruto.
