Now... I tried my best to look forward and keep my eyes on our teacher and what she was saying "Alright class, today's a free day so you guys can just chill out. Don't get too loud or I will give you an assignment to do and I know you guys don't want that do you?" our teacher says while walking to her desk "NO!" Some of the kids But Manny decided it would be a good idea to get her pencil and start poking me in my thigh She kept doing it until I finally gave in "What do you want?" I scrunched my face up and whispered so that Manny's friend didn't hear me
"What is this attitude for? Im just trying to talk to you" she whispered back with a smirk "You know why don't act stupid, please leave me alone" I whispered again through gritted teeth Suddenly her friend turned around "What are you guys whispering about?" she asked with furrowed brows "Oh nothing just getting to know her" I responded with ease so it didn't look suspicious "Oou Good!" she said excited I gave her my best smile and waited until she turned around then I got my notebook out to write. Writing calms me especially when I'm feeling a little bit unsettled.
In my notebook I write: I know this bitch Manny aint trying to talk to me as if she didn't embarrass me five years ago. Jesus give me the strength to not stab this girl with my pen. She better not try to be my friend because thats definitely a hell to the no. Bless her heart because I refuse to let her ruin my day or make the rest of my school year miserable. "What are you writing about?" Manny asked while breaking her neck to look inside of my notebook "Mind your damn business" I say quickly while shutting it fast "All this animosity is really upsetting me" she says in a condescending tone I ignored her until the bell rang for lunch. We all began packing our things, when I was finished I turned to Manny's friend and I said "Lead the way" with a smile "Okay" she said to me while she got her things and walked towards the door. I followed behind her, while Manny followed behind me As we walked through the hallway on the way to the cafeteria I spotted my man Theo Yes I know I'm delulu As I got closer to him I called his name "Theo!" I shouted He turned around and gave me a smile as soon as he realized that it was me who had called his name. "Hey!" he said walking up to me and throwing one of his arms over my shoulder which caused us to walk side by side "Hey" i said while cheesing "Do you have lunch right now?" "Yeah why?" i asked "Sit next to me mymy" he said smiling "Oh so I have a nickname now?" I said looking up at him "Maybe, also that wasn't a no" he responded softly "Fine I'll sit with you" I rolled my eyes playfully "You're abandoning us" I hear a voice behind me say
Damn I almost forgot those two where here "I'll catch you guys later" I said turning to them I looked at Manny and noticed a look of irritation on her face but I didn't care We aren't friends and I don't owe her my presence or my time.
