Chapter 3: What happened

When Brooklyn was younger, she was taught that when people are younger they should like the opposite gender and brew the gender of who they are. When They found out that she was bi - course and gender fluid non binary. They are also poly romantic, which means they like to be in a relationship with more than one person and they know about each other, but they never told anyone. To their friends they are a she and to their parents. Well they don't know anything.
Today Brooklyn decided that they were finally going to tell her best friend Chloe about everything. The only thing that they won't be telling Chloe about is the fact that she had a 3 sum with Chloe's boyfriend and Tim.
At school Brooklyn is freaking out but they knew that they had to tell Chloe. Chloe walks up to Brooklyn and Brooklyn starts "Chloe i have something to tell you. I don't know how you are going to react but I don't care because this is me. I'm gender fluid, Bisexual, and romantic. This is me and I don't care about what you think of me." Chloe looks at Brooklyn and says " Brooke I don't care who you are or who you like. You are my bestfriend and by the way how was sleeping with Charlie?". Brooklyn looks at Chloe and says "How did you know?". Brooklyn is freaking out but Chloe doesn't look bothered. "Charlie told me after I talked to him yesterday. He tried to take you down but I told him that I didn't care and that I was already questioning my identity and sexuality. But I know I'm a female so I think I'm either pansexual or maybe I'm lesbian." Brooklyn starts to cry. She didn't want her best friend to hate her. After a sec the words hit Brooklyn. Her best friend might like girls. Brooklyn looks up at Chloe and says "You aren't mad at me for sleeping with charlie?" Chloe shakes her head no. Brooklyn sighs in relief. When Brooklyn and Chloe get to class they see 2 new students. They are standing next to the teachers desk talking to the teacher. Brooklyn leans over to Chloe and whispers "Did you know we were getting 2 new students?" Chloe shakes her head no and waits for the teacher to introduce the new students.
The teacher stands up and says "Hello students. As you might have seen we have 2 new students joining us from London. The one to my right is London and the one to my left is Tracy. I want all of you to make them feel welcome and show them around school." The teacher looks over to London and Tracy and says "You two can sit next to Brooklyn and Chloe." She points to the empty seats that are found Brooklyn and Chloe.
Brooklyn looks over at London and realizes that they are beautiful.When London sits down Brooklyn introduces herself. "Hi im brooklyn. You're in London right?" After she asked the question she felt dumb. She already knew that she was talking to London but she just kept smiling. London answers "Hi brooklyn. Yeah I'm london." London is smiling at Brooklyn. Brooklyn then asks "What's your next class?". "My next class is art. What about you?" London response. Brooklyn looks at London and says "My next class is art as well".
When the class ended London looked at Brooklyn and said "Can you show me the art classroom. I don't know where it is?" Brooklyn shakes her head yes and walks out of the class with London following them. When London and Brooklyn got into class, London sat down next to Brroklyn and waited for class to start. While they are working London leans over to Brooklyn and asks Brooklyn "Why do you wear boys clothes?". Brooklyn looks over at London and answers "I'm genderfluid. I like to wear both masculine and feminine clothes. Why do you ask?". London looks at Brooklyn and finally realizes they are not the only person who goes but they/them pronouns anymore. Yes Brooklyn went by all the pronouns but one of them was They/them. London finally felt like someone would understand them. London finally says "I wanted to know. If we are going to be friends then I need to know this. Why do I go by they/them pronouns? I'm non-binary." Brooklyn looks at London and understands why they find them so attractive now. They're neither male nor female. They are perfect, in Brooklyn's eyes.
When class finally ends they go their separate ways but Brooklyn still has London in their head. This is torture for Brooklyn but she sucks it up and goes to math class.
