"Despite this being my last time as a senior, I have to admit that I will miss you," I teasingly said, playfully punching Mj while Ren stood with his pockets, smiling at our banter, other students were taking photos amongst themselves, while it was just us three.

Meanwhile, they were talking to Kanning as she held flowers. I received a text message from Gorya saying that she was out with someone named Talay. Talay? There is not anyone I know who goes to school with that name.

Kanning said his name, and as I eavesdropped on their conversation, my eyes narrowed in suspicion. There was this feeling inside me that something wasn't right. I couldn't shake off the sense of unease as I observed Kanning's demeanor and the way he held the flowers. It seemed like there was more to this interaction than met the eye.

Hours later...

Me and Ren went shopping. Surprisingly, he suggested it first. As we headed into the stores, I picked out a few things I liked and decided to try on.

I couldn't help but notice Ren's peculiar behavior throughout our shopping excursion. He seemed distracted, his gaze constantly wandering, as if searching for something or someone. It was as if he was hiding something, and it only intensified my suspicion. As I tried on the clothes in the fitting room, I couldn't help but wonder if Ren's sudden interest in shopping was merely a distraction, a way to divert my attention from whatever he was involved in with Kanning. The unease that had been gnawing at me all day only grew stronger, fueling my determination to uncover the truth.

I knew I had to be careful, though. Ren was clever, always one step ahead, and I couldn't afford to make any hasty moves. I decided to play along, pretending to be oblivious to his peculiar behavior. But deep down, I was formulating a plan, piecing together the fragments of information I had gathered so far. As I stepped out of the fitting room, I caught a glimpse of Ren through the racks of clothes, his expression unreadable. It was time to confront him, to demand answers, and to put an end to this cat-and-mouse game.

As I stepped out of the dressing room in a vibrant red dress, Ren's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, that looks amazing on you," he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips, reassured by his compliment.I didn't notice his expression change.

Ren POV

As I stared at Juliette in front of me, a smile slowly spread across my face. She looked stunning in the vibrant red dress, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that I had chosen it. There was something in me that attracted me to her every movement and the way she carried herself. It was as if she effortlessly commanded attention, and I couldn't help but be captivated by her presence. The way her eyes sparkled with joy only intensified my admiration for her, and I found myself wanting to make her smile like that every day.

I don't know if it's different compared to how I felt with Mira. With Mira, there was a sense of comfort and familiarity that I had grown accustomed to. However, this new feeling with Juliette was something entirely different. It was as if she awakened a part of me that I didn't even know existed, leaving me curious and intrigued about what could possibly unfold between us.
