Tears keep streaming down my face as Annabeth holds me like a baby. I'm usually better at controlling my emotions but this night, I just have to let everything out. I was crying up a river, and I mean literally. Grover had to climb up a shelf as he clung to the roof. The beds were floating in my tears. This is a weird power.

"Aw come on Percy." Grover says.

"I don't want to die." I ball.

"It's okay. It's okay." Annabeth rubs my shoulder.

I let out another scream. The water rises and shoots out soakind everyone and everything.

"Sorry." I wipe my eyes.

"Don't worry about it." Grover shakes his hair.

"I needed that." Annabeth spews out water.

"I just. I'm scared." I say.

"Yeah, who wouldn't be?" Annabeth asks.

"Percy, you off all people should pick yourself up." Grover says.

"How?" I look up at him.

"You're the son of Poseidon. Poseidon, God of the Sea. God of the Ocean. You have more power than me and Annabeth combined. If anyone can do this, it's you." Grover jumps down to us.

"Yeah, come on Percy." Annabeth says.

"You guys think I can survive this?" I ask.

"We know you can." Annabeth says.

"Uh... guys?" Grover points.

I see the water forming into a ball. Then a head with a shaggy beard.

"Dad?" I ask.

"Hello son." Poseidon says.
