" guys , I got eyes on me ", jamal says under his breathe as his gaze flickers around him in almost a panic , the four of them walking towards a table outside during their lunch period at school

" me too . The post shooting lookie loos are out in full force ", ruby says, side glancing any girl looking at him and side stepping closer to jamal

" oh , ruby ", a girl squeals as she comes over , making jamal scury closer to ceaser to get away

The girl taking a selfie with ruby until ruby pile his shirt collar to the side a bit to show his healing bullet wound for her to take a picture of as well and she finally leaves

" I don't know how much longer I can be bullet boy . I just wanna get back to normal ", ruby frowns

" normal ", jasmine yells out as she joins the group , making jamal squeak as he jumped , his milk carton falling over on his lunch tray and he lets out a small breathe when he realises it wasn't even open so there was no chance of spilling , ceaser side glancing him with a raised brow before they all look to ruby

" baby , you ain't never been normal ! You got that special sauce flowing in your viens , and probably all over that juicy nalga ", she begins to giggle as she looks at ruby before smiling over at the other three " ruby said I could sit with y'all , so .. "

" shoot , I forgot desert ", ruby mutters half heartedly as he looked between his three friends and how they were looking at him currently

" oh , you sit . I got you . Sugar free sweets for my super sweet treat coming right up ", she grins before popping her tray down and taking a large gulp from her inhaler and running off

" okay , I'm sorry ", ruby starts as he sat down , the other three all sitting as well as he spoke " but ever since my brush with death , I made a bargin with the big man , or woman ? Let's say the unerverse to be gender neutral " , he trails off a bit , making jamal nod along unknowingly when he looked at him

" but part of that deal was to work on my karmic energy , be a better person , so shit wouldn't go sideways again . And part of that deal is to do charity, and jasmine is my charity "

" couldn't you have saved a rain forest instead ?", monse raises a brow at him

" see ? I knew this would be an issue ", ruby sighs

" speaking of commitment, we need to make one . What are we gonna do with the cheddar ? We need a plan lf action asap . First thing after school , all hands meeting . This kind lf Gouda can get ripe real quick. And I'm not sure we can handle it if people start sniffing around ", jamal rambles out as he looked around with a narrowed gaze , getting straight to the point with his issue , and he stalwarts he's been seeing little gnomes everywhere , and now he's under the impression he's either being stalked or he's just overly paranoid and is hallucinating

" cheesy , but I like it ", ruby whsipers under his breathe , holding out a fist for a fist bump towards jamal

" yes "

" right now , the money as is makes us targets . We need to move quickly to wash out the cash so we can use the money and help ceaser survive ", monse adds in , reaching out a hand to hold ceasers arm , but ceaser shuffles closer to ruby with a sigh , not even having the energy to call monse out - again

" to survive?", ruby raises his brows in confusion

" ceasers shacking up with Carlos , he's fine , if anything .. he's definitely more than fine ", jamal grins , wiggling his brows and doing a weird shuffle that made ceaser pull a face at him , giving jamal a up and down look before rolling his eyes

" where are we meeting ", ceaser asks , looking to ruby instead of jamal since he begun to do a weird belly roll from where he sat as he stared at caeser

" my dads coming home this afternoon ", monse sighs

" okay , and it's probably not a good idea to do it at the aminios ", ceaser adds

" my house is pretty tense post dig debacle . So , ruby , it's you ", jamal sums it up

" no , we can't . Your mom doesn't want me around ", ceaser shakes his head as he looks to ruby , shifting uncomfortably in his seat

" oh , my moms got a job all week , so we're good . My house after school ", ruby says in finality before letting out a screaching yelp as he sees a teenage boy stood barely a foot away , his yelp making monse and jamal both jump as they turn to where he's looking and caeser just sighs , rasing his brows unimpressed with his jumpy friends as he realised who was stood a few foot away from them

" hey Theo ", ceaser smiles in amusement at the now flustered and wide eyed teen who was now also jumpy

" hi-

" I know you ", jamal points a finger at him , squinting slightly , making Theo give him a small smile , his pale cheeks turning bright red quickly under the attention

" yeah , it's Theo ", ceaser scoffs a slight chuckle , plopping a fry into his mouth as he scooted up a bit , putting space between him and monse and patting down on the seat he had made for Theo , giving him a small friendly smile to the boy

" yeah , I'm Theo ", Theo nods with a small grin to ceaser , shuffling forward with small steps before plopping down , ceaser looks at him with a barely comcealed smile , shaking his head in amusement

" wait , you were that guy who was sitting on the floor-

" with his mistress ", ceaser finished for jamal , who blinks , ruby and monse sharing a look with raised brows

" isn't Rio yours", Theo tilts his head slightly

" wow ", monse raises her brows , pulling a face as she side eyed jamal before looking to ruby " we're out ", she says foor the both fo them before sliding out of her seat and leaving

Rubys eyes widening " see you after school , best friend ", he smiles , at least seeming to try and be supportive to whatever wa going on even though he was beyond confused with jamal and whomever Theo was

" my mistress ", jamal prattically squarks in a loud question , eyes wide and not even noticing monse and ruby leaving

" no , silly . Your - uh , actually , I don't even know really , papi , master , dom , boyfriend , I don't really have a clue ...", Theo chuckles as he trials off , scratching the side of his neck nervously as he lit up in a bright blush , practically turning into a tamato with how pale his skin was

" it's fine , Theo , don't be afraid to ask ", ceaser smiles , patting the other boys shoulder supportively , which was odd , at least to jamal , who side eyed ceaser with a raised brow

" yeah , Um . Me and Rio aren't anything as of right now , anyway -

" really ", Theo frowns , eyes widening as he has realised he had interupted the dark skinned lanky boy

" yeah , really ", jamal nods enthusiastically, as of to overly prove his point

Though , this whole conversation between jamal and Theo only filled ceaser with amusement , and he was biting his lip harshly to try not to laugh while looking between them , watching how it played out as they continued to talk easily - well , easy ish
