Chapter four: The contract 2

Julie walked into the cafe with a brilliant smile on her face.

She removed her sunshades as she walked to the table set few steps away from the door.

Yesterday went smoothly. Those bastards and their empty threats.

Were they trying to pull her legs again?
She glanced at her phone. "Two minutes late, great!"

She heaved slowly as she relaxed on the chair.

A waitress walked up to her.

"No thanks, I'm awaiting someone." Julie smiled.

"Juliana Maretti, Mr Armando Jose requests you come over to your table at the VIP lounge upstairs." She was so nice, she really had a sweet voice.

"I love your voice, like that of an angel." Julie teased as she stood up.

"How long has he been waiting?" She added.

"Just three minutes before your arrival. Your british asset made me think I was mistaking the description."

"He could describe me that well?" Julie asked in shock.

" No, he just told me your name color, stature, dimple, face structure and hair color and that you look like a celebrity."

Well, that's pretty much everything to describe.

Julie arrived at the magnificent VIP lounge.

It had a clear view of Houston. It was very quiet and relaxing, for both business and courtship purposes.

She could spot Armando from the place she was standing.

He seemed to be engrossed in what he was doing with his iPad.

He didn't even notice when she sat at his table.

His bodyguards were few meters away from him.

"Good day sir!" Julie greeted loudly.

He lifted his head to see her sitting at his table.

He took off his ear pods as he stared at her in shock.

"Even my mom asks for permission to sit at my table." Armando muttered.

Julie couldn't hide the disgusting shock on her face.

He stared at her for a while in silence and she was staring back at him.

Eyeballs to Eyeballs.

Only one thing could be spelt out from their looks.

DISGUST.

"Sorry, but can we stop playing God and man and start what we came here for." Julie said trying her best to sound polite.

Armando continued his silent stare.

"My guards can force you up, incase you aren't aware of that"

"I'm not ready for all this, I have my whole day scheduled." Julie scoffed.

Armando couldn't believe it.

He had never met someone like this. Even Elisa stands till she's told to sit.

He was speechless. His expressionless face could only read shock.

It took a moment before  he was able to say anything.

"You really don't have manners."

"That's coming from someone who the media poses as a monster for not attending his mother's funeral" Julie muttered.
