AMELIE, MIKE, AND EDDIE SAT IN THE WAREHOUSE WAITING PATIENTLY FOR THEIR FRIENDS TO RETURN, the tension was thick between the three people, and all amelie wanted to do was jump off of a cliff.
stuck in a room with mike and eddie of all people.
"have you noticed anything off about max lately?" mike asked amelie, making her furrow her brows at him in confusion, not knowing what he was getting at,
"no?" amelie questioned in confusion, "what do you mean?" she asked for more clarification, making mike sit up more straight as he attempted to find the right words,
"like... she's been more upset and different lately, it's easier to get on her bad side" he explained, which finally made eddie scoff as he spoke up, exhaling smoke from his joint as he did so,
"redhead? she's all bad side" he said as if it was obvious, which only made mike crack a smile at eddies snarky comment, amelie shook her head before she found herself speaking up once again,
"i'm sorry— since when do you of all people care about max?" she asked mike, making him shrug at her question. "she's just seemed a little different, i'm probably overthinking it" he said as he put his hand on his head, brushing his curls out of his face.
mike glanced over to eddie, who just had his head back as he stared up at the ceiling,
"this is the quietest i've seen you since like... my sophomore year" mike said as he eyed eddie up and down, causing eddie to bring his head down before he spoke, "yeah that was the first time i failed my senior year" he said through a laugh, which made mike and amelie chuckle a bit.
"sophomore year huh? that was prime mike" eddie said as he gazed at the teenage boy sitting across from him, mikes brows furrowed before he responded, "my sophomore year? no way dude" he said as he shook his head,
"oh yeah wheeler, that was before you were with el and you were doing your crazy shit," eddie began, amelie felt her heart drop inside of her chest, she remembered sophomore year mike, hearing the stories, the stories she hated.
"remember when you hooked up with brittany hart? the senior? dude she was hot" eddie said through a laugh, amelie felt a small tug on the inside of her throat as those words escaped eddies lips,
those were the stories she hated hearing.
mikes jaw hardened before he nodded, "yeah, i remember" he said in a tight voice, glaring at eddie, who was completely clueless to what was going on, "dude all of those cheerleaders had something for you at some point, like when—" eddie began saying once again, but cut himself off.
