Chapter 3: The Rescue

Third person's POV

The rain had fallen over within the time in Pandora's rainforest and nighttime had developed over the time that the group of the young adults, the teens and Tuk had been captured by the Avatars and they were standing up by now with the Avatars having a rough hold on the Na'vi Sully siblings braids to ensure that they couldn't move away from them while the many animal noises were heard over the pouring rain as Quaritch was just stalking behind the group with his gun while he was watching the rainforest as he knew who was coming to him. Unknown to them, Jake and Neytiri were very close and they were high up in the trees as they had looked at each other and Jake signals to his wife to go left and they just split ways as Neytiri just placed a hand onto the nearby branch and she was just leaping over it and she just sneakily made her way more over to the enemies. "Watch our six" Quaritch said to the solider who was holding Siobhan as he moves just a little bit away from them before Siobhan was just roughly shoved to the front with the gun aimed at her head making her tense up just a little bit at the feeling and she growls just a little bit in a warning tone. However, a familiar noise in the distance has all of the Na'vi teens and Tuk's ears perking up and they were just twitching just a little bit as they heard the sound before Siobhan just looked over at Lo'ak through her wet hair and he just stares knowingly back at his oldest sister as the pair just knew on who making the familiar noise up in the trees. Up in the trees, Neytiri had moved to lean against one of the trees with her back and her bow and one of her arrows was in her hands as she was just yipping to her children while she was signalling to them that they were here to save them. In the shadows of the ground, Jake's shadow had appeared as he held his axe weapon in one of his hands while he was just creeping up behind a Avatar solider and he goes to attack in a very silent way before he just knocks him out as quiet as possible and he just placed the solider onto the ground.

At the same time, Neytiri was just peeking out from the tree cover and she was just aiming with her bow and an arrow at the Avatar who was holding Siobhan. However, she couldn't get a clean shot without the human girl getting hurt and the adopted mother wouldn't take the aim if it had meant to hurt Siobhan. Neytiri then just released an angry breathe since she was just frustrated that she couldn't get the aim right but her eyes had landed onto Siobhan's dark brown eyes from far below and she just briefly saw her eldest daughter nodding her head over at her and Neytiri had trusted that she would move before she just takes a deep breathe and she just releases the arrow before she just hits the male Avatar in the head and he was dead as his body just falls to the ground. The sight had caused for the Avatars to shout and to yell as Siobhan was just shoved harshly out of the way and she just hisses just a little bit in pain from the shove before three of the Avatars go to fire their guns at Neytiri but she just quickly avoids them and she just hides behind the thick branch before she shouted out-loud to her youngest son "Lo'ak!" Lo'ak then just unclips one of the Avatars smoke grenades on the Avatar's belt close to himself causing for some green smoke to appear out of it and Siobhan had understood on what was happening right now as she runs towards to where Tuk was being held and she just kicks the Avatar that was holding Tuk in her stomach and she just pulled Tuk to safety as she just shouted over at Tuk over the gun fire "Tuk!, come on!" Siobhan and Tuk then run away as Lo'ak joined his oldest sister and his youngest sister by placing his hands on his sisters backs as they just dodged all of the Avatars and the gun fire. While the children had sprinted to safety, it was time for the parents to make an appearance as Jake just runs up behind an Avatar and he just turned around before he just deflects his swing with his gun but Jake had the upper hand and he just sliced his axe weapon against his body with a grunting sound causing for the Avatar to drop to the ground.

Quaritch was just hiding behind the big branch that the young adults, the teens and Tuk were held against earlier as he just looked over at the sight of seeing his fallen comrade and he saw a familiar feather arrow that was lodged into his body before he was just breathing heavily while he was just holding up his gun as he just unclips the ammo and he just placed another one into the slot before he had shouted out-loud to the woman who wasn't far away from himself "Is that you?, Mrs Sully, I can recognise your calling card" Neytiri doesn't say anything in response as she just hides behind her cover while she was just focused on getting her family to safety before Quaritch hand signals to one of his comrades as the Avatar aims in another direction to where he was going for some cover and Quaritch said to Neytiri "Why don't you come out?, Mrs Sully, you and I have some unfinished business" Neytiri then saw that the group of young adults, teens and Tuk were running to safety and it was just making her less preoccupied with her worry about them before she shouted back at Quaritch "Demon!, I will kill you as many times as I have to now!" "You and the corporal got pretty busy, didn't you?" Quaritch had shouted out-loud to her as some of the Avatars were just slowly advancing onto her position with their guns aimed before Quaritch said to her "You've got yourself a whole litter of half-breeds, however, one of them isn't a Na'vi person but she can breathe Pandora's air, huh?, she's not even your biological daughter either, isn't she?" Neytiri's ears then had flatten with nervousness and her breathe hitches as she had understood on who he was talking about to her, there was a reason on why not many people knew about Siobhan and it was for that exact reason that she was special and that she shouldn't be known about for her safety. Neytiri was really lost in her thoughts that she didn't sense and she didn't notice that an Avatar's gun was locked onto her head and he was ready to pull the trigger onto her. However before the Avatar could pull the trigger, someone else had shot an arrow at his back and it had instantly taken him out. Standing there with a heaving chest was Neteyam and he was the one who had saved his mother. One of the Avatars down below had seen what had happened and he just yelled out-loud a threat while he was just pulling up his gun and he had aimed it over at Neteyam as the teen did the same thing with his bow and an arrow but before he could attack, Jake had grabbed his oldest son and he had pulled himself and Neteyam away as the gun was being fired at themselves.
