Chapter 16: The Gunshot Wound

Third person's POV

In the ocean near the sky people's main ship, Tuk and Tsireya had spotted Kiri as she was just yelling out-loud to everyone else while an Ikran had grabbed her by her claws and it had brought her back onto the ship's deck. Kiri was just let go by the Ikran's claws as she was just being dropped down and onto the ground with a groaning sound because her ankle had rolled from the high drop. Kiri then just tried to get up and to run away but the same Ikran had forced her down by it's claws and she just fought back against it with a yelling sound before Lyle had hopped down from his Ikran and he just grabbed her by her arms and he had forced her to stand up from the floor while he said to her "Let's go, buttercup, get up" "I'm not your buttercup, prev!" Kiri had shouted over at him while she was just shoving herself back to fight against the hold as Lyle just leads her away and into the ship more and towards a yellow railing before Kiri was just forced down and onto the floor roughly as she just yelled out-loud about it and she just looked hopelessly at her hands as they were just being tied up and onto the railing by Lyle. As he was finished with doing this, he just went away to somewhere else while Kiri just lets out a heavy sighing sound with her ears just flickering in frustration about it.

Later on....

Near the edge of the ship, Tsireya's head had popped out from the water while she was just looking out to spot if any of the soldiers were close as Tuk had appeared next to her before Tuk just pulls herself up and out of the water and she was just getting up onto the ship's floor as Tsireya just exclaims her protests to her but she just follows along close to the younger girl. The pair then just kept low to the floor while they were just passing by some of the Avatars and the soldiers as they were just successfully sneaking by them and they had arrived at the place of where Kiri was just being held as a hostage. "Kiri!" Tuk had whisper-yelled to her older sister as she just quickly made her way over to Kiri with Tsireya. "Tuk!, what are you doing here?" Kiri asked her younger sister in a whispering tone as she saw that Tuk and Tsireya were just coming over to her before Tsireya just hops over the yellow railing and onto the other side as Tuk doesn't answer her older sister while the pair just quickly tried to break the cuffs around Kiri's hands. However while they were being distracted, they didn't notice that an angry Quaritch was just coming up behind them with a scowling look displayed on his face before he had went behind them and he just roughly grabbed Tuk who had screamed about it while Tsireya just tried to desperately grab Tuk back with some cries but the Avatar just shoved her into the water below herself which was connected to the ocean. Tuk just fought against Quaritch as Kiri just yelled at him for attacking her youngest sister but another Avatar just comes up to them and she just takes Tuk as she just gets tied up against the railing beside her sister while she said to her boss "I've got her" Quaritch then just looked over at his team members for doing this while he was just breathing heavily about it and he just nods with his head strongly while he said to his team members "We can still get this done" "Hell yeah" The one that was just restraining Tuk said to her leader as she just holds up her gun again from her side before Tuk said to herself as she was just moving her hands around that were in the cuffs against the railing "Ugh, I can't believe that I'm tied up again!" Under the water where they were above her, Tsireya was just quick to recover from being thrown violently into the ocean and she made a throaty and a clicking noise since she had hoped to call an Ilu nearby herself before Lo'ak's Ilu had appeared beside Tsireya with some worried and some loud clicking noises and she had reached out for the saddle on his Ilu causing for Lo'ak's Ilu letting the Na'vi girl get up and onto him as they just quickly sped off together to find everyone else.

Later on....

Up above somewhere in the ship, Siobhan, Neteyam and Lo'ak were just holding onto the beams that were just above the soldiers and they just crawled across them while they were just being upside down. When the trio heard the yelling voices of the sky people below themselves, they had stopped moving and they had made sure to stay quiet before they had moved towards an area up top where they could walk on above the sky people. The boys then just helped Siobhan with getting up and onto the yellow beams as Neteyam just leads the group with his knife in hand while Lo'ak just held his gun in his hand and Siobhan just holds her knife in one of her hands and the trio had stopped at the ledge of the beams while they just spotted Spider with some of the soldiers. The two Na'vi boys and the human girl then just shared a look with each other as the sky people and Spider were just about to pass under them but before Neteyam could signal to his oldest sister and to his youngest brother to jump down, Siobhan was already jumping down and she had landed down and onto the ground with a commando roll before she just elbowed one of the sky people in his face that was coming at her as her brothers eyes had went wide while they were just watching her and they were being impressed by her actions before the Sully brothers had quickly jumped down to join her while they were just dealing with their own sky people too. Neteyam had shoved one away and into the water that was coming up behind Siobhan as she just kicked another one away in the stomach and both soldiers had landed into the ocean. Lo'ak had knocked one out with his gun and he was just yelling about it as he does this and he just swung at another one that was nearby Spider while Siobhan just punched the last one away that was behind Lo'ak and she just winching as she did that from the hit on her knuckles while Spider had immediately joined the fight as he saw them and he just took some of the soldiers oxygen masks off from their faces and he had punched one in the face with a grunting sound.
